Omitsu and Komitsu are younger brothers of Kodaka and Kiiro. Sadly, their parents passed away, leaving Kodaka and Kiiro to work freelance to support the family. This meant they were often away, leaving Ōmitsu and Komitsu to fend for themselves. Kodaka would send messages using his bees to tell them how much he missed them.
One day, Kiiro returned to Omitsu and Komitsu and shared the heartbreaking news that Kodaka had died while fighting a group called Akatsuki. However, Omitsu and Komitsu misunderstood and believed that Akatsuki was responsible for their brother's death. They held a grudge against Akatsuki and its members.
Kiiro decided to travel with Omitsu and Komitsu, selling honey made from his bees to support themselves. Their luck changed when they stumbled upon a special field of white flowers in the Valley of Lies. These rare flowers became crucial to their honey production, allowing them to settle down in the valley. Recognizing the importance of the flowers for their livelihood, Kiiro warned Ōmitsu and Komitsu to avoid playing near them.
In the field of flowers, Omitsu and Komitsu enjoy their playful ninja game, throwing paper shuriken at each other. Omitsu demonstrates superior skills, and Komitsu greatly admires his brother's talent. As they exhaust their supply of shuriken, a sudden gust of wind sweeps the paper weapons away. Oblivious to the danger, Komitsu chases after them and unknowingly heads toward a ravine.
However, his perilous fall is prevented by the timely intervention of Sasuke Uchiha, who had collected the shuriken as well. Despite Komitsu's initial insistence that he had everything under control, he realizes how relieved Ōmitsu is and expresses gratitude to Sasuke for saving him.
Impressed by Komitsu's determination, he requests Sasuke's assistance in training. Omitsu's attempts to calm his eager brother prove unsuccessful, leading Sasuke to agree to help them. After hours of training, Komitsu significantly improved, successfully hitting his targets. Filled with pride, Komitsu becomes aware of the darkening sky and the red-tinted clouds reminiscent of Akatsuki. Omitsu corrects Komitsu's misconception, explaining that "Akatsuki" actually refers to daybreak rather than sunset. However, Komitsu remains silent, prompting Omitsu to reveal the tragic truth that Akatsuki killed their family to Sasuke.
During this conversation, Kiiro finds them once again, lecturing Omitsu and Komitsu about the dangers of playing among the flowers. The siblings apologize to their elder brother and introduce him to Sasuke, recounting how Sasuke rescued Komitsu despite his protests. Kiiro sends Omitsu and Komitsu home to retrieve a bottle of medicinal honey as a token of gratitude for Sasuke. The two comply with their brother's request and bring Kiiro's infant son along. Sasuke graciously accepts the honey and bids them farewell. Omitsu and Komitsu wave goodbye, eagerly urging Sasuke to visit them again in the future.
Omitsu has a cheerful and playful personality. He enjoys engaging in games and activities, such as pretending to be a ninja and throwing shuriken. He is talented at what he does and takes pride in his abilities. Omitsu also cares deeply for his younger brother Komitsu and is relieved when others help and protect him.
Omitsu's abilities with shuriken are superior to those of his younger brother Komitsu, and Komitsu admires him for his proficiency. He also knows how to make honey from the flowers he found in the Shangri-la.
