Akahoshi in Naruto

Akahoshi was a shinobi from Hoshigakure, a small village in the Land of Bears.After the Third Hoshigake unexpectedly "grew ill" and passed away, Akahoshi assumed the role of Hoshikage. In reality, the Third Hoshikage was assassinated by Akahoshi and his supporters Shis and Yotaka when their request to lift the prohibition on star training was turned down. In order to compete with the five major countries, Akahoshi restored the star training after seizing control of the village.

He reasoned that their ninja would become unbeatable because of the meteor's abilities. Akahoshi convinces the villagers of Hoshigakure to excavate a meteor that he believes contains ultimate power. When the meteor is found to be empty, Akahoshi claims that the power was inside him all along and uses it to manipulate the villagers.

Later, in order to defend the meteor, Akahoshi enlisted the aid of Team Guy and Naruto Uzumaki. Later, he assumed the identity of the enigmatic masked ninja and succeeded in kidnapping Sumaru in order to draw the enigmatic bandit out for use as bait by Natsuhi. When Natsuhi came, Akahoshi and Sumaru engaged in combat as he sent Shiso and Yotaka to get the leaf ninja.

Naruto and Natsuhi were thrown into the Valley of Death by Akahoshi using his Mysterious Peacock Method: Beast, but they were able to escape covertly using the Mysterious Peacock Method: Wings.

When Rock Lee and Tenten discovered Sumaru in his quarters being treated at a hospital and saved him, Akahoshi's real colors were revealed to the leaf ninja. Later, by following her chakra trail, Naruto and Natsuhi were able to find them. After employing Sumaru to coerce Natsuhi into giving up the meteor, Akahoshi took it. After that, Akahoshi set a trap at the Star Training Building, which led to Natsuhi's demise.

The Hidden Star ninja were instructed by Akahoshi to kill Sumaru, Hokuto, and the leaf ninja shinobi immediately. The Star ninja turned against Akahoshi after Hokuto and Mizura revealed the negative consequences of the Star Training, particularly in that instance when a crazy Akahoshi unintentionally admitted that he had killed the Third Hoshikage.

In order to gain the meteor's ultimate power, Akahoshi proclaimed himself to be the Fourth Hoshikage and inserted the meteor into his chest. Consequently, he can employ his Mysterious Peacock Method: Dragon. Akahoshi fights against Naruto and Sumaru's mom, who had discovered the truth about the empty meteor. He is ultimately defeated by Naruto's Rasengan.

Akahoshi is portrayed as power-hungry, manipulative, and deceitful. He is obsessed with obtaining ultimate power and is willing to do anything to achieve his goals. He is known for his ability to manipulate star chakra, which he believes gives him ultimate power. He is also portrayed as arrogant and believes that he is the only one who can lead his village. Akahoshi is willing to sacrifice the lives of his fellow villagers to obtain ultimate power. He is a skilled ninja and has a good understanding of the ninja arts.
