Aoi Rokusho in Naruto

Aoi used to be the chunin-rank Konohagakure Shinobi and was frustrated by the fact that he was not able to be promoted to be a jonin-rank shinobi. That frustration led him to trick his student Idate Morino into stealing the Secret Scroll and Sword of the Thunder God. Idate was impatient to become a chunin and had failed to clear the exam.

After Aoi told Idate about his plan, he forced him to come along with him to Amegakure, where he could be promoted to a jonin-rank and Idate to a chunin-rank shinobi. To make his plan successful, he wanted a jonin-rank shinobi to track them down so he could open the Secret Scroll and use the sword at its full power.

When Ibiki Morino came to the rescue of his younger brother Idate, Aoi was able to take him and his brother hostage and asked him to open the scroll, which Ibiki refused to do. But then, Aoi threatened Ibiki that he would kill his brother if he did not help him.

Ibiki told Aoi that he would never betray his village even if his brother had to die, but then somehow, he was able to break free, attack Aoi, and free his brother. Aoi set the house on fire, in which Ibiki was kept hostage as Idate fled to Amegakure.

Sometime later, Aoi was hired by the Wagarashi Family to attack the Wasabi family and also to kill the Wasabi family’s runner and his old student, Idate Morino, who was adopted by Jirocho Wasabi when he was struggling to find food for himself in the Land of Tea. Aoi injured some of the Wasabi family members when they were traveling.

Aoi himself went with Fukusuke Hikyakuya, who the Wagarashi Family hired to run in the Todoroki Shrine Race. He told Team Oboro to take care of Idate and Team Kakashi.

When Team Oboro failed to defeat Team Kakashi and Idate, Aoi attacked them with Senbon Shower Technique which had a poison, but Sakura used a medication that Tsunade gave her to neutralize the poison.

Aoi went to Fukusuke and told him to reach the Todoroki Shrine as he got to know that Team Kakashi and Idate survived his attack.

Aoi used the Sword of the Thunder God to counter Naruto’s Rasengan and Sasuke’s Chidori. He was able to counter them easily, but then Sasuke’s Chidori made a crack on the sword and Naruto’s Rasengan was able to break it.

Aoi was defeated by Naruto Uzumaki and fell into the river. Naruto helped Idate to reach the Shrine. Idate was able to win the race.

Aoi is cruel and selfish. He used Idate to steal the Sword of the Thunder God and Secret Scroll for his own benefit. He tried to kill Idate even though he was his student. He does not care about anyone.

Aoi Rokusho has green hair and used to wear a Konohagakure headband and guard, with shinobi sandals and a full-sleeved black jumpsuit.

When Aoi became an Amegakure shinobi, he wore their headband and carried an umbrella through which he could shoot Senbon (Metal Needles). He wore a sleeveless purple jumpsuit and gloves on his left hand. He has a cut mark on his forehead which Ibiki gave him when he attacked him.

Aoi was a Jonin rank shinobi who was very skilled with umbrellas that can shoot Senbon. He has great chakra control and could use the Sword of the Thunder God skillfully. He uses the Senbon Shower technique which has poison needles that can kill.

He was skilled enough to take down two Anbu and also counter Naruto’s Rasengan and Sasuke’s Chidori.
