Bekko is a Konoha village Ninja Academy teacher from Konohagakure (the Village Hidden in the Leaves). He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Bekko is a Ninja Academy teacher and he is one of the first characters who appears in Naruto episode one “Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!” He appeared when Mizuki made Naruto Uzumaki steal the Scroll of Seals from the Hokage residence for his own benefit. After getting the scroll, Naruto learns Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu. Mizuki lied to him that whoever learns the one Jutsu from the Scroll of Seals would graduate from the Ninja Academy. Bekko, alongside other shinobi, told the Third Hokage (Hiruzen Sarutobi) about the incident and then the Third Hokage gave the order to bring back Naruto and the Scroll of Seals to him. In the end, Iruka Umino was able to save Naruto and the Scroll of Seals from Mizuki.
Bekko was also seen in the background with Daikoku Funeno and Iwana Akame shouting to stop the fight between Itachi Uchiha and other Ninja Academy students who were bullying Itachi.
Bekko seems short-tempered and has great care for his village. He was seen getting angry with Naruto because he stole the Scroll of Seals.
Bekko has spiky black hair and a broad-looking face. He wears a Hidden leaf head protector and a standard Konoha shinobi outfit that has a flak jacket and navy jumpsuit. He has bandages around both his wrist.
