Furofuki in Naruto

Not much is known about Furofuki’s past as she made little to no appearance in the anime. Additionally, she is only a part of the Naruto anime, making her a filler, non-canon character in the series.

Furofuki debuted in the Past Arc: The Locus of Konoha, where she was introduced as a medical shinobi, a herbologist of Konoha. In the arc, Furofuki heads to the Jofuku Forest when she notices some disturbance, wondering what is going on there. In the forest, she runs into Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Ino Yamanaka.

There she learns that the commotion was caused by Naruto when he destroyed a fake Gaara created by Jofuku Flowers.

Furofuki then introduced herself and informed the young genins that she was studying the Jofuku flowers on this mountain. Naruto wondered why she chose to live and work all alone on the mountain and asked her the same. However, Furofuki shot Naruto down and told him it wasn’t any of his business.

Later, she gave the three Konoha genin containing lots of Jofuku flowers to take back to the Hidden Leaf. This is the only incident where Furofuki appeared, and she hasn’t reappeared since. Due to the lack of information, it is hard to determine whether she is still alive or not.

For the time being, Furofuki is believed to be alive and well until any additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.
