Very little is known about Gando’s past as his early years are still shrouded in mystery. Little is known about his lineage or background as he only appears in the game. He is just a part of the Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 game and does not appear or receive any mentions in the Naruto series manga or anime, making him a non-canon character in the series.
In the game, the puppet controlled by Gando appeared as a shadowy figure alongside Ibushi and Menō. Later, it crossed paths with Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura, and Kakashi in the Kisaragi Village, but quickly vanished upon realizing that the spirit orb was not present.
Later, he made his first appearance alongside the other members of the Shirogane Three, after Menō's attempt to eliminate Naruto, Lee, and Sakura in the bandit hideout failed. He appeared again when Konohagakure handed them the Spirit Orb, which turned out to be a trap. Nonetheless, Gando had a barrier in place that prevented Kakashi and Might Guy from attacking, while one of Menō's puppets snatched the Spirit Orb.
Gando then deployed his puppets to take down Naruto, which resulted in a battle. Once his puppets were annihilated, Gando was ultimately defeated by Naruto's Rasengan. Before breathing his last, he disclosed that he was just a decoy for the puppets to escape with the Spirit Orb, and prophesized that the Shirogane clan will be restored after the Master Puppet is revived.
Gando had an unwavering determination to revive his clan and was willing to take extreme measures to achieve his goal. He had no qualms about sacrificing himself if it meant bringing his clan back to life.

Gando was a physically imposing man, characterized by his tall stature and muscular build. He had long, braided black hair which he tied up into a ponytail, and distinctive red markings beneath his eyes. Like his fellow Shirogane Three, he donned a traditional purple onmyoji-style garb, emblazoned with the Shirogane clan symbol at the front.
This outfit was secured with a dark red sash, and he carried two scrolls on his lower back, one red at the bottom and one blue at the top. Gando's attire also included faded purple pants, which he tucked into bandages on his lower legs and shinobi sandals. A dark blue tassel was attached to his left forearm, completing his distinctive look.
Like his fellow clan members, Gando excelled in Puppet Technique.
The name "Gandō" (ガンドウ) translates to "gund" in English.
