Hokushin in Naruto

Hokushin is from the Land of Birds and is one of the senior members of the Watari Ninja group. He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Hokushin’s Background

Hokushin, a member of the Watari Ninja, was assigned by his leader Hoki to track down Chishima. However, Chishima managed to escape from Hokushin and the other pursuing ninjas. Seeking to prove his abilities and climb the ranks within the Watari Ninja, Hokushin decided to challenge Kakashi Hatake, a skilled ninja.

Believing that Kakashi, along with Neji Hyuga and Tenten, were leaving the village, Hokushin followed them. However, he fell into a trap as Kakashi, Neji, and Tenten used a technique to switch places with some monkeys, deceiving Hokushin.

In the final showdown, Hokushin confronted Kakashi in battle. However, Kakashi effortlessly defeated him by using a technique called the Body Replacement Technique. By substituting his body with an object, Kakashi caught Hokushin off guard and emerged victorious. This defeat highlighted Kakashi's superior skills and strategic thinking.

Hokushin’s Personality

Hokushin is a determined and ambitious individual. He strongly desires to prove himself and climb the ranks in his ninja organization, the Watari Ninja. Hokushin is always looking for challenges to showcase his abilities. However, he can be easily fooled or caught off guard, as he lacks a keen sense of awareness.

Hokushin’s Appearance

Hokushin's outfit consists of a beige-colored, vest-like shirt that goes down to his knees. Underneath the vest, he wears a purple-colored shirt. He also wears a black lower arm sleeve on each arm and a thick black belt around his waist.

He has long, sky-blue hair with bangs that cover the right side of his face and reach down to his chest. He has big, black eyes. He wears a very thin, white headband that is mostly hidden by his hair.

Hokushin’s Abilities

Hokushin can use the Hiding with Camouflage Technique. This technique allows him to blend in with his surroundings, making it easier for him to gather information about his opponents without being noticed.

Additionally, Hokushin carries a sword, which suggests that he is skilled in kenjutsu, the art of swordsmanship. This means he has training and proficiency in using a sword as a weapon.
