Ikkyu went to meet with the Seventh Hokage in Konohagakure. His son Tento showed him a new card he had bought, but Ikkyu had to leave for a conference with the Hokage.

A few days later, the Mujina Bandits gang kidnaped Tento, and the kidnappers demanded a lot of money and the release of criminals in Hozuki Castle in exchange for his safe return. Ikkyu thought there were spies among his entourage and started gathering the money. Fortunately, Tento was rescued by team Konohamaru, and Ikkyu was very happy to see him again.
