Iwana (Citizen) is from the Land of Water village and he was a childhood friend of Kagura Karatachi and Yamame (Citizen). He is one of the characters in Boruto: The Next Generation, a Japanese manga series written by Ukyo Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto.

Iwana (citizen) appeared in Boruto episode: 243, “Where I Belong.” He was roaming around the village entrance with Yamame and there they saw Kagura with other Hidden Mist shinobi and Team 7. He asked Kagura why he is here then Kagura told Yamame about the Funato Clan and that they would pass through the village to reach Kirigakure to attack.
Iwana and other villagers agreed to help Kagura in his plan to stop Funato Clan and started preparing for battle. He saw Kyoho Fuefuki cutting down the tree and was super impressed by his power. He and who was cutting down the tree for defense use and helped him build the village's defense.
After the first attack by Funato Clan, Iwana and Yamame was seen repairing the village wall and crying because Kagura was killed by Funamushi. Later, Team 7 and Hidden Mist shinobi were able to defeat Funamushi. When Boruto came back after his encounter with Kobuna, Iwana and Yamane informed about the the fight that was going on the Kirigakure port. He shook hands with Kyoho Fuefuki and sent him off.
Iwana is kind and friendly. He is helpful and don’t judge people by their looks. He asked Kyoho to stay in the village even though Kyoho looked scary.
Iwana has violet hair and wears a grey t-shirt with dark grey ¾ shorts. He is chubby short height guy and his eyes are violet in color.
Iwana is skilled in carpenter job and helped Kyoho to build the defensive wooden blocks.
