Kaya in Naruto

Due to her limited appearances in the series, little is known about Kaya’s lineage or background. Kaya was seen in episode 435 of Naruto Shippuden, which was titled Order of Priority. She appeared in Tsunade’s Infinite Tsukuyomi dream in Jiraiya’s novel.

In Tsunade’s dream, after hearing Team Jiraiya's (consisting of Nagato Uzumaki, Yahiko, and Konan) advice to stay away from the village, Kaya and the rest of the villagers decided to head to their warning and evacuated to a safe location. However, her younger son Komichi lost his teddy bear and went running to find it with his brother, Ashitaba.

She tried to stop her sons but her plea fell on deaf ears. Following this, she went to the shrine of Lord Mashima, a deity, to pray for the safety of her children. At this point, Team Asuma (Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka and Choji Akimichi) ran into her. Later, with the help of Shikamaru’s intellect, Team Asuma found an underground passageway inside the shrine.

After learning about Kaya’s circumstances, Team Asuma managed to join Team Jiraiya underground and with their joint efforts, they successfully saved the young children. They then returned Kaya’s children to her and Kaya couldn’t help but believe that Lord Mashima answered her prayers and had mercy on her.

Later, Deidara used his explosive clay technique to destroy the village with a single huge blast. Kaya, her children, and the other villagers were all killed in a massive explosion that completely devastated the village.

Due to her lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Kaya’s personality. From her limited appearance, it can be deduced that Kaya was a god-fearing woman and loved her children.

Kaya was a tall, fair-skinned woman with long brown hair and big, dark eyes. In her sparse appearance, she was dressed simply in a pinkish shirt with a brown collar, a brown skirt with grey pants underneath, and black sandals.

Kaya was a god-fearing woman with two loving sons and led her life in peace. Based on the information available, she did not possess any combat abilities.
