Kiri in Naruto

At first, Kiri was one of the followers of Ganryu and was in Team Ganryu. He was amongst the many followers that wanted to kill Iwagakure messengers Kurotsuchi and Akatsuchi when they arrived in the Land of Water. However, Ganryu gave the order to fall back when Naruto and Choujuro arrived to save the messagers. While Kiri was unhappy with the decision, he obeyed although he was later sent back to his village duties after Ganryu was captured and branded as a criminal.

Kiri in Fourth Shinobi War

Kiri was placed in the Surprise Attack Division during the Fourth Shinobi World War. Kankuro and Kiri start planning battle preparations after the division has mobilized and chosen a place to camp. Later, when Zaji became ill, Kiri was instructed to take care of him and he did so while being shielded by Ittan's rock shelter. After the explosion, he asked Zaji what was going on outside and was reassured that everyone was still alive.

Later, the Surprise Attack and Diversion Platoon ran into a backup team for the opposition, and Siri and a part of his division were engaged. They attempted to run away from it but were hit by Ibuse's Poison Mist and died as a result. However, the Fifth Division's samurai arrived in time to save them and transported them to the hospital where they will be treated.

Kiri used to hate Iwagakure Shinobi as his father was killed by one of them. However, that changed during the Fourth Shinobi War as he felt moved by Gaara's speech and forgave all the shinobi before working with them in the war. He was also calm and composed, which is how he became Medical-nin.

He is dressed in the traditional Kirigakure shinobi outfit, which includes a flak jacket and pin-stripped leg and arm protection. He also wears the Allied Shinobi Forces' forehead guard over his short black spiky hair and above his dark eyes.

Kiri could use the Mystical Palm Technique to treat wounds as a medical ninja. He also shows his skill as a strategist by helping Kankuro plot an ambush during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
