Kosuke’s Background

Very little is known about his childhood as Kosuke’s past is still shrouded in mystery. He first appeared in Boruto episode 43.

Kosuke was a member of the Scientific Ninja Weapons Team under Katasuke. His main responsibility was to gather data and document the usage of the Kote, a device that enables users to replicate jutsu. He even recorded instances like Boruto's use of the Kote during the Chunin Exams.

During the mission to rescue Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage, from two powerful enemies, Kosuke joined Katasuke secretly. After Naruto and Sasuke defeated Momoshiki Otsutsuki, he and Katasuke attempted to take down Momoshiki using their devices.

Unfortunately, Katasuke's actions inadvertently restored Momoshiki's strength, allowing him to absorb their attacks. As a consequence, both Kosuke and Katasuke were repelled by Momoshiki's counterattacks.
