Life of Kusuna

Kusuna first appeared as a second leader of the Gang of Four, a formidable group led by Yomi. Alongside his comrades Gitai, Setsuna, and Shizuku, Kusuna engages in a high-stakes confrontation with Shion, a priestess who can seal the dangerous demon Moryo. Before going there, Yomi used his dark medical ninjutsu on him and the others in the gang.

After breaking through the defenses of a temple, Kusuna and his team faced Shion and were ready to harm her. But Naruto suddenly appeared with many copies of himself, scaring them away. Then, Kusuna told Gitai, Setsuna, and Shizuku to work together using their different abilities against Naruto. When Neji, Sakura, and Lee arrived to help Naruto, Kusuna's team made a distraction, and Kusuna chased after Shion.

Kusuna caught up to Shion and was about to hurt her, but Neji stopped him by throwing him into a wall. Realizing that the situation wasn't in his favor and that his team's strength was running out, Kusuna ran away with his teammates.

Later, Kusuna and his team came back with a new plan. They aimed to separate Naruto and his friends from Shion. The plan seemed to work as Shion's guards were forced to fight individually. Kusuna went after Sakura, who was guarding Shion.

He caught Sakura and then went for Shion. But Kusuna accidentally killed Shion's bodyguard, Taruho, thinking it was Shion due to a special disguise technique.

Yomi later informed them that Shion was still alive, so they returned to complete their mission. While looking for Shion and causing damage to the forest, Neji figured out that Kusuna was the reason behind their opponents' unusual strength in using different powers.

Neji then tricked Kusuna's team into using up their dark chakra and shocked Kusuna with his special attack, the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, which took away their main power and defeated Kusuna.
