Mangetsu Hozuki in Naruto

Mangetsu Hozuki was one of the members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and from Kirigakure (the Village Hidden in the Mist). He was the brother of Suigetsu Hozuki. He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Mangetsu Hozuki’s Background

Mangetsu and his brother Suigetsu dreamed of joining the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. This dream motivated them to complete dangerous missions. Mangetsu achieved his goal and learned how to use all seven swords of the group. Unfortunately, he died soon after and this made Suigetsu lose his motivation.

During a battle, the Seven Swords Men of the Mist from the past, including Mangetsu, were brought back to life to fight. Mangetsu had four of the group's swords hidden in a scroll. He used a technique called the Water Gun Technique to kill enemies silently but when the mist was cleared, he was exposed to the enemy.

In the anime, he fought alongside other revived ninja against the Third Division. After one of his allies was sealed away, he and the others retreated into the forest. Eventually, he was sealed by the Third Division. Later, when a special technique was used to undo the resurrection, Mangetsu's soul returned to the afterlife.

Kisame Hoshigaki stated that Mangetsu was a calm and humble swordsman. He was dedicated to his goal, which is why he was able to become one of the members of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.

Mangetsu Hozuki’s Appearance

Magetsu had white hair and sharp teeth, just like his brother Suigetsu. He carries a scroll that carries all the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist swords and wears a black tank with brown trousers. His eyes are white, and he has bandages around his neck.

Sword Mastery

He was good with swords, especially the seven special ones the Seven Ninja Swordsmen used. He also carried a scroll that had all swordsmen of the mist swords.

Water Gun Technique

He could shoot water like a gun to attack and defeat his enemies. Silent Killing: Mangetsu was skilled at silently taking down his enemies without making a sound.
