Mito Uzumaki

Mito during her earlier day was just a normal shinobi from the Uzumaki Clan who possessed great Chakra control and also had large Chakra reserves like Naruto Uzumaki. Being distant relatives, the Senju and Uzumaki clans have traditionally enjoyed a close relationship. In the end, Mito wed Hashirama Senju, who later helped build Konohagakure and rose to become its First Hokage.

After Kurama was taken from Madara Uchiha by Hashirama following their triumph over him in the Valley of the End, Mito sealed the tailed beast within herself and became its first Jincuhriki. Despite the seal's durability, it nearly shattered when she was giving delivery.

It was decided that Kurama would need a new host as she approached the end of her life. The position was then chosen for Kushina Uzumaki, a member of Mito's clan, because of her unique chakra. Mito reassured Kushina, who was terrified at the thought of being taken away from her family to become a Jincuhriki and advised her to fill herself with love in order to combat the fox's wrath. The beast was probably taken out of Mito at some point after that and confined within Kushina.

After becoming the beast's Jincuhriki, Mito greatly improved Konohagakure's protection. She was also the one who realized that love was necessary to thwart Kurama's power to control his jinchriki by overwhelming them with unpleasant feelings. She gave Kushina Uzumaki this knowledge, which in part enabled the young lady to tame the beast inside of her and subsequently assisted Naruto Uzumaki in taming the beast.

Mito had a very elegant air about her and looked quite calm and collected. As seen by her decision to transform herself into a jinchriki by enclosing Kurama within herself to increase her husband's strength, she also had a great sense of responsibility to her spouse and the village.

When Kushina learned she would become a Jincuhriki, Mito consoled her and provided advice on how to deal with the situation. Mito was also characterized as being comforting and compassionate.

Mito had a huge head of brilliant red hair and eyes that were completely black. She was dressed in an elegant, high-collared kimono with an obi around her waist that bore the Uzushiogakure insignia. She had three clips in the front of her hair and buns with hair pins.

She had a rhombus-shaped mark on her forehead that resembled the Strength of a Hundred Seal and was also sporting a heavy shade of red lipstick. She also wore hair decal tags with kanji printed on them. She had considerably longer hair in her old age, part of which she let hang into her back.

She is one of the greatest Shinobi and Jinchuriki as even if she could not merge fully with Kurama, she is able to control the Chakra of Kurama and use it.

Fuinjutsu

A sort of jutsu known as fuinjutsu seals items, living creatures, chakra, and a broad range of other things inside of another object. Fuinjutsu can also be used to stop someone or something from moving to open sealed things, and she was able to seal Nine Tailed Beast by herself.

Chakra Control

She also possessed a very potent and distinct sort of chakra, even for an Uzumaki, which made her ideal for stifling the Nine-Tails. She had access to much more of the extremely potent chakra after becoming a jinchuriki.

The name of the capital of one of the Japanese prefectures may have inspired Mito's name.
