Muyami in Naruto

Muyami and his team participated in the Chūnin Exams organized by Konohagakure and Sunagakure. They were split into different rooms for a written test, and Muyami was in Room 1. The goal was to score a combined total of 100 points to pass, and they managed to achieve that, leaving the bonus question unanswered.

In the preliminary round, they had to race to Sunagakure, and Muyami's team successfully made it into the top 30 teams, qualifying for the next round. During dinner, a fight broke out among the genin, but Muyami decided not to get involved due to his shyness.

The second round took place in the Demon Desert. Muyami's team had collected three Heaven scrolls while pursuing another team with an Earth scroll. They encountered Team Kurenai, and Muyami fought against Shino Aburame. After a tough battle, they discovered that Kiba Inuzuka had the Earth scroll and managed to take it from him. Muyami summoned his giant mole, Moguranmaru, and they escaped underground.

Team Kurenai pursued them, but Muyami's team lured them into a quicksand pit, thinking they had won. However, Team Kurenai survived and continued tracking them. Muyami's team used an odor-masking technique to evade detection, but it wasn't foolproof. Realizing they couldn't outrun their pursuers, they decided to turn back and confront them.

They ambushed Team Kurenai, but it was a trap with clones. Team Kurenai explained that they had used Shino's insects to mask their scents and locate Muyami's team. The lingering scent on Kiba's clothes helped them track them down. Muyami's team engaged in a fierce battle but was eventually overwhelmed. Muyami watched in horror as Shino's insects devoured Moguranmaru, and Kiba's powerful Three-Headed Wolf technique defeated them. Team Kurenai claimed both a Heaven and Earth scroll as their victory.

Muyami is not very friendly and is a shy guy who doesn’t like interacting with others. His shyness even stops him from helping his teammates during a fight. He is deeply attached to his summon, Moguranmaru, and feels a strong sense of care for it. Muyami is devastated when Shino kills Moguranmaru, which deeply affects him.

Muyami has big black eyes. He typically wears a green long-sleeved shirt, beige shorts, and a pair of small sunglasses. He has brown hair that he ties back in a small ponytail. His bangs partially cover his forehead protector.

Muyami has swift movement and can summon Moguranmaru, who is a giant mole. He uses his metal claws to attack and can use Earth Release to be able to move underground easily, which he showed when fighting against Shino Aburame and Kiba Inuzuka. The metal claws he has are called Tekko Kagi.
