Nekobaa in Naruto

In the anime, Itachi Uchiha would frequently pay a visit to Nekobaa to complete various tasks, with a young Sasuke Uchiha in tow. However, Sasuke often found himself growing restless and irritable during these visits. To alleviate his brother's boredom, Itachi devised a game that involved collecting paw prints from the fleet-footed felines that roamed the area. This game, known as the Paw Encyclopaedia, proved to be a hit with Sasuke and kept him occupied for hours on end.

Although Sasuke eventually grew tired of collecting paw prints, Nekobaa continued the tradition and became quite skilled at it. In fact, she managed to collect one of the final two paw prints that Itachi had assigned, which belonged to the fearsome Two-Tails. It was a remarkable feat, considering the Two-Tails was a powerful tailed beast that was notoriously difficult to track down. In a stroke of luck, Nekobaa was able to persuade the jinchūriki of the Two-Tails, Yugito Nii, to provide her with the paw print.

When Nekobaa assigned Team 7 with the crucial mission of capturing and retrieving the paw print of a certain feline for her encyclopedia, Sasuke felt an intense personal drive to complete the task. It was later discovered that he and Itachi had been participating in similar missions for many years during their childhood.

Determined to succeed, Sasuke tackled the mission with fierce determination, refusing to let any obstacles stand in his way. Finally, after much perseverance and hard work, he managed to retrieve the elusive paw print and present it triumphantly to Nekobaa. However, Sasuke's success was short-lived when Nekobaa revealed that the mission was, in fact, a test devised by Itachi to challenge and motivate his younger brother.

In the Itachi Pursuit Mission arc, Sasuke visited Nekobaa to purchase supplies for his new team, Hebi. Upon seeing Sasuke, Nekobaa reminisced about the past and recalled how Itachi and Sasuke were once young and innocent "kittens". She expressed her disbelief that the two siblings now found themselves on opposing sides, with a desire to harm one another.

Nekobaa hasn’t appeared since. Due to her lack of appearance, it is close to impossible to determine her status. For the time being, Nekobaa is believed to be alive and well until further information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Nekobaa's love for cats is not unknown. She cares deeply for all felines that she lives with. She also adores her granddaughter, Tamaki.

Nekobaa also showed remorse when she learned that Sasuke and Itachi are now mortal enemies, which indicated that she cared for the Uchiha siblings.

Nekobaa is a distinctive figure with her long, flowing gray hair and a pair of dark cat ears adorning her head. Her hair is often held back by these ears, which add to her unique appearance. She can usually be seen wearing a light purple scarf, adding a touch of color to her ensemble.

Her outfit consists of an orange dress that compliments her warm complexion. Nekobaa is often seen squinting her eyes, perhaps due to her age or as a result of spending much of her time with cats. Her black, cat-like nose is another distinguishing feature, adding to the overall feline theme of her appearance.
