Nishi (sensor) is a shinobi of Konohagkure (the Village Hidden in the Leaves) and one of the senior members of the Sensory Type Team. He is from Konohagakue (the Village Hidden in the Leaves). He is one of the characters in Boruto: The Next Generation, a Japanese manga series written by Ukyo Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto.

After the Seventh Hokage disappeared under strange circumstances when an unfamiliar energy was detected, Shikamaru Nara sent a team led by Nishi to investigate the Hokage's home. This was because Kawaki, who was with the Hokage at the time, was the only person nearby.
While searching, Nishi discovered a broken vase that Kawaki had repaired after an earlier fight. Boruto Uzumaki took the vase from Nishi, trying to show that Kawaki wasn't involved.
Later, after a group, including Team 7 and Kawaki, used a special technique to escape, Shikamaru asked Nishi if Sasuke Uchiha had been in touch with the village. Following the defeat of Isshiki, Nishi was assigned to watch over Kawaki within the village. One evening, without Nishi knowing, he focused on a clone while the real Kawaki hid his presence and left the village.
Boruto's insistence made it clear that Kawaki had tricked them, and Naruto told Nishi to expand his search and tell Shikamaru. As they couldn't find Kawaki, Naruto asked Nishi to find Boruto, as he realized Boruto had gone after Kawaki.
Nishi is serious about his role as a sensory shinobi and highly respects Hokage, which can be seen when he talks to him. He is also down to earth and apologizes for his mistake.
Nishi has brown hair and a very thin mustache. He has grey eyes and wears a Konoha protector headband. He wears a Konoha flak jacket and a navy blue jumpsuit.
Nishi is well-skilled with sensory detection techniques and was one of the guards who were monitoring Kawaki's movements.
