Ryugan in Naruto

Ryugan was from Takumi Village and one of the Four Celestial Symbols Men who tried to capture Gaara so they could resurrect Seimei, the founder of the Takumi Village. He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Ryugan’s Life

The Four Celestial Symbols Men, including Ryugan, kidnapped Gaara's student, Matsuri, to use her as leverage to reach Gaara. Their plan was to harness the power of the One-Tailed Shukaku inside Gaara to resurrect Seimei. They wanted revenge against the Five Great Shinobi Villages for not respecting their own village.

During the confrontation, Ryūgan attacked Gaara and Kankuro. Kankuro outsmarted Ryugan with a puppet decoy. Later, Kiba and Choji arrived to help and devised a plan to defeat Ryugan.

Kiba's dog, Akamaru, disguised as a puppet, distracted Ryugan while Kankuro fixed his damaged puppet, Kuroari. When the opportunity arose, Kankuro trapped Ryugan inside Kuroari and used a powerful technique to defeat him. After the battle, Hoki took Ryugan's special sword, Garian.

Ryugan was cunning and clever, but he was also overconfident about his abilities and looked down on others. He takes great pride in his Garian Sword.

Ryugan’s Appearance

Ryugan wore a white scarf around his neck that reached down to his pants. His outfit consisted of a tight, purple sleeveless shirt that showed his abdomen and purple arm warmers with brown straps securing them to his arms.

He wore baggy grey pants held up by a thick, brown belt and tucked into his sandals. He always carried his sword on his back. He had blue hair and wore the Takumi Village headband titled around his forehead. He was young and had green eyes.

Ryugan’s Abilities

Ryugan's expertise with the Garian Sword was truly remarkable. He displayed exceptional skill in effectively wielding the sword, whether engaging in close combat or striking from a distance. By infusing his chakra into the blade, Ryugan could magnify its power tenfold, releasing the channeled chakra as a formidable dragon-like attack.

Additionally, Ryugan was part of a proficient team that executed the Ninja Tools Barrier: Reverse Fish Scales Formation. They employed this technique together to incapacitate Gaara, their intended target, temporarily. This showed Ryugan's ability to collaborate with his comrades and strategically use their combined strength to gain the upper hand in battles.
