Santa Yamanaka is one of the members of the Yamanaka clan, one of the strongest clans in Konohagakure (The Village Hidden in the Leaves). He was also in the Third Division led by Kakashi Hatake in the Fourth Shinobi War.
Yamanaka played an important role during the battle against the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist in the Fourth Shinobi World War. He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

During the battle in the misty battlefield, Santa, a Third Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces member, teamed up with Kakashi to gain an advantage over the reincarnated shinobi. To overcome the low visibility, Santa used a special technique to switch bodies with Kakashi temporarily. This allowed him to use Kakashi's body to position him behind their enemy, Zabuza Momochi.
However, when Kakashi attempted to strike Zabuza, his attack was blocked by Haku. Santa became concerned that Zabuza had defeated Kakashi. At that moment, Ensui Nara mentioned that he had only managed to stop one of the enemies because the time he spent in contact with the other shadow was too short to activate his own technique.
But soon Kakashi was able to defeat Zabuza and then Maki sealed him. As dawn broke on the second day of the war, Santa was part of a group of shinobi engaged in a fierce battle against Jinin Akebino.
Santa Yamanaka seems quite calm and composed. He is intelligent and follows orders, as Kakashi said.
Santa Yamanaka has long brown hair, which is styled in a ponytail. He dresses in a basic Konoha outfit with a head protector, which consists of an olive jacket and black trousers.
Santa is a jonin, which clearly tells that he is one of the strongest-ranked shinobi in Konohagakure. He is from the Yamanaka clan and can score Mind Body Switch Technique. He can switch his mind to another body while using this ability and can take control of that person.
