Sazanami in Naruto

Tokichi lived in a small village between two big countries. He was a bladesmith but lived in poverty. One night, he was delivering a custom-made sword when he met a criminal named Gosunkugi. Gosunkugi had killed a customer and their family. The villagers thought Tokichi was the murderer and had him arrested.

To clear his name, Tokichi escaped and became a bounty hunter. He changed his name to Sazanami to hide from those who wanted to catch him. He also found out that there was a reward of three million ryō for capturing Gosunkugi, so he decided to catch him to prove his innocence.

Sazanami met three young ninjas: Naruto Uzumaki, Kiba Inuzuka, and Hinata Hyūga, while they were looking for Gosunkugi. They all went to a bar, where Naruto got into a fight. Sazanami, who was really fast, knocked out Naruto. He let the bar owner keep the reward for the attacker as compensation for the damage.

However, Sazanami wanted to go after Gosunkugi alone and tried to put the three ninjas to sleep. He was worried they might get hurt. So, he left them behind and went off to find Gosunkugi. Gosunkugi turned out to be a skilled ninja and attacked Sazanami, leaving him badly hurt.

Luckily, Naruto and his friends arrived just in time and scared off Gosunkugi and his gang. They took Sazanami to a cabin to tend to his wounds. While they were taking care of him, another bounty hunter named Gatsu tried to capture Sazanami but failed because Naruto and his team protected him. Gatsu dropped a wanted poster, and it had the name "Tokichi" on it, the same name Sazanami had, and it had a bird mark, just like Sazanami's. It was a strange coincidence.

Sazanami shared his sad past with Naruto and his friends, explaining how Gosunkugi framed him for a murder he didn't commit. Even though he was injured, Sazanami decided to help the young ninjas in their fight against Gosunkugi. They managed to defeat him, but then Gatsu captured Sazanami and took him back to the village.

However, something unexpected happened. Gatsu and a village official revealed that Gosunkugi had confessed to his crimes, proving that Sazanami was innocent all along. This allowed Sazanami to return to his village as he had originally planned.

Sazanami used to be an overconfident bounty hunter and did not trust anyone around him because of his sad past, but later when Naruto and other shinobi helped him, he became their friends. He is calm and composed, which he shows in the bar while fighting a crime.

Sazanami likes to wear a light blue kimono, which is like a traditional Japanese robe. He also wears a torn-sleeved shirt over it. And sometimes, he puts on a straw hat to complete his look.

Sazanami is a big and strong man. He has two scars on his left cheek and a long scar on the right side of his face. He has some rough facial hair on his chin. There's a birthmark on his chest that looks like a bird. His hair is long and messy, and it's a dark gray color.

Sazanami used to make excellent swords, and he's really good at using one with a special hilt he made. He's also learned how to be really skilled with a sword in his quest to clear his name and as a bounty hunter.

He's so good that he can easily defeat three experienced young ninjas from Konohagakure. When he uses a technique called Iaidō, his strikes are strong enough to cut through another person's blade, and he's so fast that he can stop a ninja from making hand movements for their jutsu.
