Suiren (Kiri) in Naruto

Suiren appeared in Naruto Shippuden episode 342 in which she was a member of Ganryu's team assigned to recover a scroll taken by Kumogakure shinobi. Their mission was to bring the scroll back to their village and promote peace. However, their allies from Iwagakure betrayed them and killed Junsai. In an act of bravery, Suiren sacrificed her own life to protect Ganryū. This event became known as the Tragedy of Yosuga Pass, leading to hostility between Kirigakure and Iwagakure.

Following Suiren's tragic death, Ganryu became determined to avenge his squad, who got killed, and formed a group of like-minded shinobi who shared his hatred towards Iwagakure. The Third Tsuchikage, aware of Ganryu's hostility towards his village, sent Kurotsuchi and Akatsuchi to retrieve Suiren's bangle as a gesture of apology. Unfortunately, Akatsuchi was injured in his confrontation with Ganryu, so Chojuro gave him the bangle instead. Later on, Ganryu passed on Suiren's vision for peace in the ninja world to Naruto Uzumaki.

Suiren was kindhearted. She protected Ganryu with her wounded body because her teammates were more important than her own life. She wanted a peaceful world.

Suiren had long blonde hair and wore a Kirigakure shinobi outfit which consisted of a flak jacket and black jumpsuit. She wore a Kirigakure head protector and had fair skin and brown eyes.

Suiren was an intelligent shinobi and fast, though in the anime, she did not show her shinobi skills. Still, being a jonin-rank shinobi, she must have the basic skills.
