Tsubaki (Game) in Naruto

Before the events of the game, Tsubaki was born into a clan living near the Tree Felling Village and the Forest of Delusion. A long time ago, the Tree of Life was cut down. Years later, Tsubaki became sick and lost her husband, which was a great concern for her daughter, Aoi. Aoi spent a lot of time in the Village.

Naruto and Jiraiya arrived in the area around this time. Tsubaki's illness had progressed to a point where she shouldn't have been able to move, but she was still able to do so. This worried Aoi, who decided to volunteer as a sacrifice to the demon Black Shadow, causing Tsubaki even more worry.

Naruto found Tsubaki in the Forest of Delusion and learned the truth from Jiraiya. Aoi didn't want to be a sacrifice; she wanted to get leaves from the Tree of Life that could cure fatal illnesses. Tsubaki's condition worsened to the point where she couldn't move, and Jiraiya took care of her while Naruto went back to the cave. Before Naruto left, Tsubaki gave him a family charm for Aoi's protection.

After Naruto and Aoi returned from defeating Black Shadow and obtaining the Tree's last leaf, Tsubaki used the medicine made from it and started to recover. Naruto woke up from a coma and was surprised to see Tsubaki alive, as Aoi had kept her condition a secret. Naruto eventually left, and Tsubaki was happy to see her daughter cheerful again.

Much later, Naruto took Aoi to the Crystal Cave to find the Tree of Life's seed. Tsubaki, who had been collecting herbs, became worried about Aoi's whereabouts. She learned about Aoi's connection to the Tree and the village's plans to grow it again.

Tsubaki was overjoyed and prepared a delicious dinner for Naruto to thank him. After dinner, she gave Naruto a gift and said goodbye, reassuring Aoi about waiting for Naruto's next visit.
