Uroko Kurama in Naruto

Since Uroko’s past is still a mystery, not much is known about her early years. Uroko was a jonin of Konoha.

Uroko, a member of the Kurama clan, was blessed with a daughter named Yakumo, who inherited the full extent of the clan's coveted Kekkei Genkai. However, despite possessing this unique ability, Yakumo was born with a frail and weak body, much to the dismay of her father, Murakumo.

Driven by his desire to restore the Kurama clan's former glory, Murakumo sought to provide Yakumo with specialized training that would focus solely on developing her genjutsu skills. He approached the respected Third Hokage of Konohagakure, Hiruzen Sarutobi, requesting him to appoint a tutor who could guide his daughter toward realizing her full potential.

But fate had other plans for the Kurama family. One tragic night, a raging inferno consumed their household, claiming the lives of both Uroko and Murakumo. The cause of the fire was a horrifying revelation - Yakumo's uncontrolled powers had unwittingly unleashed a malicious and malevolent entity known as Ido, residing within her subconscious, which had turned against her and started the fatal blaze.

In the aftermath of this horrific event, Yakumo struggled to come to terms with the loss of her parents, initially believing that the Third Hokage had ordered their demise. But as she gradually learned the truth behind their untimely deaths, she was forced to confront the terrifying reality that her own powers had been her undoing and that the malevolent Ido lurking within her was a deadly force to be reckoned with.

Due to her lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Uroko’s personality.

Uroko was a woman with delicate features, long silver hair, and light-colored eyes. She wore a grey jacket with a big red belt around her waist, a grey dress that went all the way down to her feet, and three shirts of different colors underneath.

She also wore a necklace that had a special meaning to her. Her outfit was elegant and showed her gentle personality.

It is believed that Uroko was a highly skilled kunoichi, as she had achieved the rank of jonin of Konohagakure, arguably the most powerful shinobi village.

Uroko Kurama, like other members of her clan, had a first name associated with clouds. Her name, Uroko, was inspired by a type of cloud called cirrocumulus cloud (鱗雲, Urokogumo), which looks like fish scales.
