Misumi Tsurugi

Misumi and the rest of his teammates entered the chunin exams to spy on the others for Orochimaru. During the preliminary round, he had a match against Kankuro. He used his abilities to wrap himself around Kankuro, trapping him in a stranglehold and threatened to break his neck if he didn't forfeit.

When Kankuro refused, Misumi did what he had warned him he would do to him and it was then revealed that he actually had Kankuro's puppet in his grasp. Kankuro then used his puppet to wrap its arm around Misumi's body, trapping him and breaking every bone in his body. This forced Misumi to forfeit the match.

Misumi is known to be overconfident and sadistic in nature. He usually lets his ego get the better of him and will use trickery and underhanded techniques to achieve his goals.

Misumi wore a mask and his forehead protector as a bandana. He wore a high collared, sleeveless, purple shirt with a short-sleeved shirt and a simple obi around his waist with purple pants and sandals. He also wore purple fingerless gloves with round framed glasses. After leaving Konoha he wore a short-sleeved shirt, pants and sandals. He also has spiky black hair.

Misumi was quite efficient in gathering information and he used the Soft Physique Modification technique. It is a procedure that allows him to dislocate his joints to fit any space and he then controls his softened body with chakra. This allows him to stretch and twist any part of his body at any angle. He is also able to create water clones.
