Zangei in Naruto

Not much is known about Zangei other than the fact that Zangei was a bounty exchange master.

Zangei first appeared in the Akatsuki Suppression Arc. In the arc, it was revealed that Kakuzu, one of the notorious members of the criminal organization Akatsuki, had a habit of utilizing Zangei's station to deposit the lifeless bodies of his hard-earned bounties. Zangei, being appreciative of Kakuzu's services, willingly paid him for his work. However, Zangei couldn't help but express his frustration towards Hidan, another member of Akatsuki, who seemed to be a hindrance in their profit-making endeavors. Kakuzu wholeheartedly shared Zangei's sentiments regarding Hidan.

On one occasion, after paying Kakuzu a staggering sum of 30,000,000 ryō for the capture of Chiriku, Zangei found himself ensnared by the clutches of Konohagakure's authorities. He was subsequently taken into custody for interrogation by the infamous Ibiki Morino, a skilled and cunning interrogator known for his ability to extract information from even the most resilient of suspects.

Despite the harrowing circumstances, Zangei remained steadfast and unwavering in his loyalty toward the Akatsuki. He refused to divulge any information regarding the notorious organization or his involvement with Kakuzu.

Zangei hasn’t appeared since and due to the lack of appearance, it is close to impossible to determine his current status. For the time being, Zangei is believed to be alive and well until further information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Zangei appears to be a professional and straightforward individual who values honesty and transparency in his business dealings. He has a polite and amiable demeanor toward his clients, as evidenced by his relationship with Kakuzu.

Zangei is also a shrewd businessman who is keen on maximizing profits. He is quick to point out the flaws in his client's business strategies and is vocal about his opinions, as seen when he tells Kakuzu about Hidan's impact on their profits.

However, despite his business acumen, Zangei's loyalty to his clients is unwavering. He remains tight-lipped during his interrogation by Ibiki Morino, showing his dedication to protecting the confidentiality of Akatsuki and Kakuzu. This loyalty suggests that Zangei has a strong moral compass and a deep sense of integrity.

Zangei sports a bald head, complemented by his striking black eyes, thick mustache, beard patch, and thick eyebrows. He bears a conspicuous scar above his right eyebrow that adds to his rugged appearance.

His attire consists of a light gray cloak, which is fastened with sleek black buttons.
