Elbaf in One Piece

Elbaf is located in a region known as Warland. The waters surrounding Warland are known to be dangerous. Elbaf is the village where Dorry, Brody, Omi, Kashii, and Hajrudin lived. It is close to Sheep's House (an orphanage run by Mother Carmel) and is near a forest area. When Big Mom went on a rampage, Sheep's House was in flames. After it was relocated, the citizens worked on rebuilding it after the damage that had been inflicted.

On the outskirts of the village, there is a grave site for all of the deceased giants. The village has a policy about fighting that if the fight can't be resolved, those who are involved should leave and seek judgment from their Gods through battle. There is a traditional meal known as 'Semla' which is held before the winter festival.

Dorry and Brogy made their own pirate crew and left Elbaf. They caused a lot of turmoil during their journey around the world and gained a bounty of 100 million berries. Years later, some of the Giant Warrior Pirates were captured and then ordered to be executed. Mother Carmel put out a scripture regarding the salvation of the giants from a public execution. Due to this noble act, Mother Carmel was welcomed into Elbaf with open hands due to her generosity and the desire to form a bond between humans and giants.

However, Mother Carmel wasn't as nice as she looked, she only opened Sheep's House to sell all the giant orphans to the World Government as she knew that Elbaf would give her a bigger success rate and access to the "merchandise". She was the person who gave the World Government their first giant, John Giant, who was enlisted with the organization.

Even though Mother Carmel took Charlotte Linlin into the orphanage, even though Linlin has several incidents which came into being like her killing a bear with just a single hit, causing severe injury to Eiri when she tried to swat a mosquito off him, etc. Despite these incidents, the giants accepted Linlin as their own and she also felt that too.

When the annual Winter Solstice Festival came, the giants had prepared Selma for the upcoming twelve day fast, which Linlin ate all for herself. By the seventh day of the fast, Linlin had lost control of her hunger and wanted more Selma, which resulted in her causing destruction to the village. The Elder Warrior Jorul labeled Linlin an evil spirit and wanted to take her down despite Carmel's wishes. Linlin easily dodged Jorul's attacks and threw him down, fatally injuring him. Carmel used her devil fruit powers to tone down the flames that were spreading through the village and gave life to homie Pandora and the citizens believed that she was a sun God. After Linlin ate Selma to her satisfaction, Jarul tried to kill her but Carmel intervened and told him that she'll take Linlin away. Even though Linlin had caused so much destruction, the villagers spared her life because of Carmel. She took away Linlin and all the other orphans with her as they didn't want to leave her.

As Linlin had inflicted severe damage on Jorul, he sadly passed away. The giants were angered and sad. When they approached Linlin about this, she innocently questioned Jorul's death as if she didn't have a memory of the rampage. A giant from Elbaf visited the orphan of Sheep's House and when he was checking on Carmel and the orphans, he witnessed Linlin commit a horrific act which made Carmel and the other orphans disappear in the middle of her sixth birthday celebration. The giant quickly went back and returned to Elbaf to tell what took place and they all were very furious with Linlin and refused to even mention her name.

After the incident that took place in Ohara, Jaguar D. Saul, surviving being frozen by Kuzan, led a team of giants from Elbaf to gather whatever knowledge was left behind. After they had acquired all the books, they were taken back to Elbaf for safe keeping. It was around this time that Vegapunk had made a discreet visit to Elbaf and after taking permission from the giants, he was allowed to read and memorize the contents of every book that they had salvaged.

Elbaf is the home of all giants, but not all giants are from here. The people that live on this island are Prince Loki, Oimo, Kashii, Stanley, Hajrudin, Gerd, Road, Goldberg, Dorry, Brogy, Jarul, Jorul, Blue, John Giant, Raiden, Eirik, Jaguar D. Saul, Carmel, Charlotte Linlin, Pandora etc.
