Location

Water 7 has waterways and a canal that are used for transporting and is surrounded by sidewalks on the canals. Many citizens use bulls, which are seahorse-like creatures that are attached to boats that help the people move around the city. There are three types of bulls, the two small ones are used for transportation and there are king bulls too.

These bulls can go up ramps of water and are easy to use to move around the city. The architecture of Water 7 is very colorful, the roof is tan or peach in color for the walls, and the roofs are red and semi-circular. The houses are in tier structures to allow more houses to take up room and are usually made keeping in mind the fact that the city sinks.

Some canals are wide enough for ships and lead the ships to a place where they can be docked. The city resembles a giant fountain in a volcano shape due to the tiered system of building houses. The Galley-La Headquarters is also in Water 7 where Iceburg lives and it is the largest home on the island and is very well protected. Dock one is considered the best dock of the Galley-La Company and is one of the seven docks owned by different companies.

Each one of these docks is grouped together to form the Galley-La Company. The Blue Station where the Sea Train stops is also in Water 7. This station tends to become very crowded when the Aqua Laguna comes and many citizens during this time board up their houses and leave for other islands.

The infamous Franky House is also on Water 7 and the Franky Family lives here and uses it as its base. The house has ‘ FRANKY HOUSE’ written in big gold letters and has large robot-like arms hanging from its sides. There is a Rental Bull Shop in Water 7 where people can rent bulls. It is located at the entrance to the city from Rocky Cape. The bulls are kept in a fish tank, with Yagara bull two-seaters costing 2,000 berries.

History

Water 7 used to be on dry land and the Shipyard Island would be outside of the city. However, as time went by, the water began to rise and the people of Water 7 built new houses and buildings on top of the older buildings to survive. Many years ago the ancient weapon Pluton was made here and then shipped to Alabasta.

Those blueprints of the weapon remained in Water 7 for generations to come. Gol D. Roger visited this city and Tom, the fish-man shipwright built his ship, Oro Jackson.

Many years later, pirates started stealing trade ships that the population had depended on to survive. Tom was put on trial as he had built Roger’s ship but he made a deal that he wanted to build a Sea Train to save Water 7 from becoming a ghost town and to repel the pirates. The judge liked his ideas and gave him ten years to build it.

Tom built the tracks that connect to Pucci, St. Poplar, San Faldo, and Enies Lobby. After the Sea Train was made, Water 7 was saved from becoming a ghost town and became a thriving city. Later on, Spandam tried to get a blueprint from Tom, who refused to give it to him. Spandam had to frame Tom and his workers to be able to acquire it but Tom sacrificed himself to release his workers from government custody.

Previously, Water 7 had seven docks, each large dry dock used for building ships. Each one of them is run by a different company. One day, Tom’s Student Iceburg united all seven docks into one company and named it the Galley-La Company. Ever since then, docks have worked as one, and each one takes orders and builds ships as part of the same group.
