West Blue is the birthplace of the Straw Hat Pirates' Archaeologist, Nico Robin, and Musician, Brook; the Emperor, Red-Haired Shanks; former Warlord of the Sea, Gecko Moria; and one of the Worst Generation, Capone Bege. The Rumbar Pirates and the Happo Navy are two more notable pirate crews from this sea.

Ohara: It is the homeland of Nico Robin, known as the Demon Child. It is also the country of origin for several academics and archaeologists. The World Government used a Buster Call to destroy it.
Ilisia Kingdom: Previously ruled by Thalassa Lucas, the Ilisia Kingdom is currently led by Cezar, affiliated with the World Government.
Thriller Bark: It is a giant, island-sized pirate ship once owned by Gecko Moria, a former Warlord of the Sea. It is presently a part of the New World.
Toroa: It is Byron's hometown.
Las Camp: It was invaded a few weeks following Edward Newgate, aka Whitebeard’s passing.
Ballywood Kingdom: It is a country ruled by Ham Burger and affiliated with the World Government.
Kano Country: It is the homeland of the Chinjao Family.
Marine Base 80th Branch.
The city from which Laffitte was banished.
The nameless island far to the northeast of Ohara, from which a boat left and from which the marines discovered Nico Robin after escaping Ohara, proving her survival and leading to the issuance of her first bounty.

A. The Red Line is a massive ring-shaped landmass that circles the entire One Piece planet and acts as a wall, dividing the globe. Combined with the Grand Line, it divides the sea into four quadrants, namely East Blue, North Blue, West Blue, and South Blue.
A. East Blue is one of the four great seas covering the One Piece World.
A. The New World is the name given to the second half of the Grand Line. It is located between West and North Blue, as well as Fish-Man Island and the other side of Reverse Mountain. Gol D. Roger and his crew are the only known individuals to have fully explored it. After the two-year time skip, the major setting of the second half of One Piece is in the New World.
