Atlas encountered Monkey D. Luffy, Chopper, Jinbe, and Jewelry Bonney on Egghead's surface while they explored and interacted with holograms. Mistaking Atlas for a hologram, Luffy punched her, prompting her to retaliate. Later, Atlas showcased the Automatic Cooking Machine and her Light-Pressure Gloves, introducing herself as Dr. Vegapunk. After the group ate, Atlas left abruptly, confusing them.
When CP0 agents infiltrated the island, Atlas was the first Vegapunk to confront them in battle. Despite being outnumbered, she engaged them. Rob Lucci's Rokuogan severely damaged Atlas. While Luffy fought Lucci, Jinbe carried Atlas away, intending to take her to Vegapunk for repairs. S-Snake directed them to the Vacuum Rocket, launching Atlas and Bonney to the Labophase.
While others dealt with CP0 and Seraphim threats, Atlas underwent repairs. After completion, she joined the search for the missing Stella. Alongside Robin and Chopper, Atlas explored the lab, remembering a forgotten area where she suspected Stella might be located, leading the group toward it.
Atlas rejoined the surviving satellites, Vegapunk, and the Straw Hats after capturing the traitor York. Discovering that York had password-protected the Frontier Dome, Atlas, Vegapunk, and Edison worked together to successfully crack it, much to York's annoyance.
Later, Atlas was horrified when Kizaru appeared in the Control Room and surprised when a giant Luffy grabbed Kizaru. Wanting to regain control of the Pacifista, Atlas, along with Vegapunk, left in the Vegatank-08, picking up Franky and Sanji. Atlas ordered the Pacifista to target Marine ships. They rescued Bonney but noticed the Pacifistas stopped attacking under Jaygarcia Saturn's command.
As they drove back to the Labophase and witnessed Saturn's arrival, Kizaru shot the clouds, causing Vegatank-08 to crash. Facing Saturn, they tried to save Bonney but found themselves unable to move. Watching Bonney's execution, they were freed when Bartholomew Kuma arrived and attacked Saturn. Vegapunk instructed Atlas to carry Kuma to the Labophase.
Atlas, Vegapunk's "violence" satellite, is quick to anger and tends to resort to violence, especially when someone attacks her or struggles to use her inventions correctly. She has a short temper. When angered, Atlas can be prone to physical aggression.
Despite her violent tendencies, Atlas is quite talkative and willingly explains the inner workings of her inventions in detail. She seems to have a passion for her creations and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others.
Atlas is also intrigued by the question of reality's definition. While she has her own firm views on the matter, she believes that others should decide the answer for themselves. This shows a sense of openness and respect for differing perspectives.
Atlas has a reckless side, as shown when she engaged in a fight against CP0 despite warnings from Shaka that she can't win. This recklessness suggests a daring and impulsive aspect of her personality.
Atlas is an incredibly large girl, standing as tall as Kaido. She looks quite young. Her appearance is unique with a floppy downward ear and short curly hair. Her hair is split between white on the left side and pink on the right, with long curls on each side running down to her belly. She also sports a long, bushy tail on her abdomen.
In terms of clothing, Atlas wears a short pink dress with her designated number on it and a downward-pointing arrow on the front. She completes her look with pink boots, brown gloves featuring attached white sleeves, an earpiece for communication with other satellites, and a large jetpack on her back.
Atlas seems to have some mechanical parts, as her face cracked and emitted smoke when damaged by a punch. She is probably a blend of human body and mechanical advancements.
As a satellite of Vegapunk, Atlas contributes to his technological developments. She fulfils a need for violence, attacking holograms as a form of physical exercise.
Atlas possesses significant strength, demonstrated when she punched Luffy with force, causing bruises. She also has great durability, barely affected by a normal punch from Luffy. Her body makes a metallic sound, suggesting armor or cyborg modifications. She can change her mask and replace damaged parts.
Equipped with futuristic technology, Atlas uses Light-Pressure Gloves to interact with light, making holograms react as if real. She can also fly using her jetpack.
Atlas's name likely draws inspiration from Greek mythology, particularly the Titan Atlas, who was condemned to carry the heavens on his shoulders.
It's also possible that Atlas's name is influenced by the moon crater named Atlas on Earth's moon, in line with other satellites like Edison and Pythagoras.
Another source of inspiration for Atlas's name could be the moon of Saturn named Atlas.
There was an error during Atlas's initial appearance where "Punk 06" was mistakenly drawn on her outfit.
