Baratie in One Piece

The Baratie is a large ship in an oval shape, it has normal masts and a fish as its front piece. The Baratie also has a round bottom. They also have some cannons on the side which can be used in battle. The Baratie has four levels. The lower deck is where the main restaurant is, the middle deck has the main kitchen, and the upper deck is the place where the cooks reside. The fins that are folded from underneath are used to stabilize the restaurant during harsh weather. It is also used to prevent the restaurant from getting any collateral damage.

The Baratie has secondary boats in which one was a supply boat and the other one was a shopping boat. The fish head in the front is detachable and can be used to attack too.

Zeff founded Baratie with Sanji's help and support. When the Cook Pirates attacked Orbit, Sanji and Zeff both were left stranded on a rock for eighty five days. During their time stranded, Zeff discussed the idea of opening a restaurant that would float on the sea. Sanji told Zeff that if he survives then he would help Zeff achieve that dream. After they were rescued, Zeff sold all his treasure and bought Baratie. He became the restaurant's head chef and told Sanji that anyone was welcome here, no matter how bad they were.

When Luffy temporarily worked as a chore boy in Baratie, the restaurant was attacked by the Krieg Pirates after Sanji had given Gin some food. Gin took the armada to Baratie as he was starving to death. After Zeff gave Krieg food, which the cooks of Baratie couldn't do, Krueger tried to hijack Baratie saying that it would be a perfect disguise to attack towns and ships. This didn't sit well with the cooks of Baratie and they prepared to fight the Wolves of the Sea. After a long battle, Krieg was defeated by Luffy and Baratie was saved.

Head Chef Zeff

He is the owner who is in charge of Baratie. He founded Baratie twelve years ago with the help of a young Sanji.

Sous Chef Sanji

Sanji is the member who joins the Straw Hats crew, he is the cook of the crew. His full name is Vinsmoke Sanji, he joined the crew after the battle that took place in the Baratie. Even though he was born in the royal Vinsmoke family, Sanji disowned them and ran away.
