Cabaji’s History

Cabaji is initially by Buggy's side when they encounter Boodle. However, when Buggy's crew faces trouble due to Luffy's actions, Cabaji engages in a duel with Zoro. During the fight, Cabaji plays dirty by exploiting Zoro's wounds and using fiery breath attacks. Despite Buggy's attempts to intervene, Monkey D. Luffy prevents it, and Zoro, displaying honor, injures himself to continue the battle.

Zoro ultimately defeats Cabaji with his "Oni Giri" technique, cutting open Cabaji's chest. As Cabaji falls to the ground, he is astonished that he and Buggy's crew were defeated by what he perceives as "common thieves." Zoro corrects him, asserting that they are not common thieves but pirates.

Buggy's Crew Adventure Chronicles

After Buggy's defeat by Luffy in Orange Town, Cabaji and the crew fled the town and mourned their captain's loss, Cabaji and Mohji competed for the title of the next captain but were both knocked out by Richie.

With Richie briefly holding the title, Cabaji and Mohji teamed up to defeat the Kumate Tribe and rescue their crew members. When Buggy resurfaced, Cabaji resumed his former position.

Loguetown Arc

In Loguetown, Cabaji joined Buggy and Alvida in the fight against the Straw Hat Pirates and the Marines. He pinned down Luffy on the execution stand but was thwarted when stormy weather electrocuted Buggy through his sword.

The crew faced challenges, and Cabaji expressed a desire for a rematch with Zoro, though it didn't happen. Ultimately, the electrocution led to Buggy and the crew's downfall in Loguetown.

Jaya Arc

Cabaji celebrated with the crew when Portgas D. Ace joined their party, and they enjoyed the festivities together.

Impel Down Arc

Cabaji, Alvida, and the rest of Buggy's pirates pleaded with Alvida to go to Impel Down to rescue Buggy. When Alvida told them to rescue Buggy by themselves, they decided to proceed while honoring Buggy's supposed death.

Post-War Arc

After Buggy's return, Cabaji lied about never giving up on him. He then introduced himself to the Impel Down prisoners along with Mohji.

After Buggy became a Warlord of the Sea, the Buggy Pirates received a summons to fight against the World Pirates. Following Buggy's command, Cabaji and the crew invaded the enemy ship, witnessing Byrnndi World defeat Luffy. Buggy then ordered them to help revive Luffy.

Encountering Gairam, Cabaji, along with Buggy and Mr. 3, faced Gairam's Cube Booster attack. They dodged the cubes and, later, noticed Buggy's selfish motives. Despite the confusion, they cheered for Buggy when the crew joined in. When Gairam attacked again, they fled while Mr. 3 defended against the assault.

Cabaji stood surprised as Buggy was turned into a cube by Gairam. Buggy revealed his Muggy Ball, creating a smoke cloud for Hancock to defeat Gairam. Although the crew believed Buggy defeated Gairam, Cabaji, and Mohji had doubts but decided to go with the flow.

Exiting the enemy ship, they witnessed a fleet of Marine ships approaching. The crew then escaped back to their ship as the Marines fired upon them.

Cabaji’s Personality

Cabaji is a serious, mysterious, and elegant individual. He is skilled in acrobatics and holds his own in combat. He shows some concern for his captain, Buggy, and is often found by his side. Unlike Mohji,

Cabaji doesn't seem to care much for Richie, Mohji's pet lion, and even uses it as a shield to avoid getting dirty during an attack.

Cabaji’s Appearance

Cabaji is a tall, thin man with a unique hairstyle that covers half of his face. In the manga, his hair appears black, but in the anime, it's light green where shaved and dark green where longer.

He often wears a large blue and white checkered scarf covering the lower part of his face, a sleeveless brown coat (purple in the anime), white pants widening near the end, held up by a white sash (light blue in the anime), and white shoes.

His hair is distinct, with one side long and the other shaved in a parallel design. During the Zou Arc, he sports a white top hat.

Cabaji’s Abilities

As a high-ranking member of the Buggy Pirates and Buggy's Delivery, Cabaji holds authority over the lower-ranked members, similar to Mohji.

Cabaji possesses notable physical strength, as demonstrated when he effortlessly lifts Richie with one arm and sends Mohji flying with a single kick.

His combat style, known as Carnival Tricks, combines swordplay and acrobatics. This unique style involves using circus props and feats, such as riding a unicycle, spinning tops, sword swallowing, and even breathing fire.

In battles, Cabaji is skilled with daggers and a sword, similar to his captain, Buggy. He also showcases agility by gliding to great heights on his unicycle. Additionally, Cabaji can swallow swords effortlessly and has a talent for using razor-sharp spinning tops. In desperate situations, he's shown proficiency in hand-to-hand combat
