Chaka’s History

When Koza, the young leader of the Suna Suna Clan, asked Chaka to train him, Chaka, along with Pell, later arrived at a town under pirate attack. Crocodile, however, had already defeated the pirates by the time they got there. As the rebellion progressed, Chaka and Pell wanted to fight back but were halted by King Cobra.

Upon learning about the enemy's identity from Vivi's letter delivered by Karoo, Chaka was tasked with preparing the royal army as the rebels approached the city.

During the rebellion, when the king went missing, Chaka panicked and ordered a search. Despite believing the king wouldn't do harm, a guard reported seeing the king admitting to stealing rain and giving orders to destroy Nanohana. Chaka, skeptical, continued to lead the royal guard to fight for the king and princess.

When Crocodile attacked the kingdom, Chaka faced him alone, angered by the Warlord's actions. His intention was to protect Vivi and Koza, buying them time to end the battle. Despite his defeat, Chaka later commanded the royal guard to stop fighting.

Chaka is a tall and imposing man with dark skin, medium-length black hair, and a long broad nose resembling a jackal. He wears a long light-green tunic that shows off his muscular chest, with two belts around his waist—one large, striped in pale-red and crimson, and another thinner one in purple.

Around his neck, he has a necklace with big golden beads, and he sports a dark-green coat draped on his shoulders like a cape. On his right hip, he carries a massive sword with a blue hilt and sheath.

Chaka possesses the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Jackal, a Zoan-class Devil Fruit that enables him to transform into a jackal and a human-jackal hybrid. This transformation enhances his speed and physical abilities, earning him the moniker "Chaka the Jackal." In battles, he combines this form with swordsmanship, often holding the sword in his mouth while charging at opponents to increase the power of his attacks.
