Hibari in One Piece

Past

Although not much is known about Hibari's past, she was born in the North Blue seventeen years ago. She has always kept her teddy bear accessory as a lucky charm. Sometime after joining the Marines, Hibari lost the teddy bear on a battlefield, but her comrade Koby went back to the battlefield and got it for her, getting hurt in the process. Hibari was appreciative of his assistance and later nicknamed the teddy bear "Kopy-senpai."

Final Saga

Sometime after the Blackbeard Pirates kidnapped Koby, Hibari and Helmeppo went up to Prince Grus and requested him to save Koby in Hachinosu. Grus, however, thought her demands were irrational and advised her to remain calm. She accompanied Helmeppo on their rescue operation for Koby, boarding Monkey D. Garp's ship. Later, she joined the SWORD members on the ground to ambush the Blackbeard Pirates on Hachinosu. After spotting Koby, she fired a rifle full of Flower Bullets at the pirates, transforming the ammunition from their guns into actual flowers.

Hibari brought Koby to Garp after they defeated the pirates in front of them, but he was unable to free Koby from his shackles. At that moment, Kuzan startled everyone by freezing her. The ice was defrosted by Tashigi and the other Marines, which allowed Hibari to survive. She apologized for being a nuisance and inquired about Koby.

While expressing relief for her well-being, Kujaku reassured Hibari that Koby and the others would return. As Koby was ready to stop the gigantic hand on his own, Hibari stared in horror as Avalo Pizarro threatened to crush the Marines' ship. The ship and the Marines were saved, though, when Koby managed to destroy the hand. When Helmeppo returned Koby to the ship, Hibari hugged him as the other Marines applauded. The other Marines are startled when Garp contacts the ship and tells them to leave without him.

Later, the group sought medical care at the Marine GS General Hospital. They listened to Vegapunk's global broadcast while they were there, and Hibari remarked on how much information was being made public.

Hibari is a sentimental young lady who is prepared to risk her life to protect a friend. She treats others with kindness and consideration, but she is a little shy and ashamed of how a boy like Koby would read her body language. She also speaks with a Hiroshima dialect.

Hibari is a young lady with blond hair styled in a ponytail with bangs. She wears a white military pocketed shirt that reveals her midriff, green gloves, orange military boots, and green sea foam camouflage pants with a blue, white, and turquoise tricolor cloud design. The right side of the pants is torn, exposing yellow and orange striped leggings. She also has a brown backpack with a blue teddy bear named "Kopy-senpai," pink headphones with blue stripes over her ears, and a black belt around her torso with pink heart-shaped buckles.

Hibari has authority over lower-level subordinates in her capacity as Marine commander. As a member of the Marine squadron SWORD, she can move and behave however she pleases, defying instructions from superiors.

Hibari uses a rifle in battle and is an extremely skilled sniper. She can neutralize an entire group of gunmen without being noticed thanks to her long-range support skills. She eliminates hostile firearms by jamming their barrels with blossoming flowers using Vegapunk's gunpowder-modifying GP Flower technology, Flower Bullets. Hibari can also use Observation and Armament Haki.
