Over 100 years ago, Morley, a wanted pirate, escaped from Impel Down using her Devil Fruit powers, creating tunnels known as Level 5.5, which later housed Newkama Land. She joined the Revolutionary Army, and four years ago, she greeted Kuma on the Wind Granma.
During the Levely Arc, Morley, along with Belo Betty, Lindbergh, and Karasu, saved the Lulusia Kingdom from the Peachbeard Pirates. They then headed to Momoiro Island to discuss the Revolutionary Army's declaration of war.
After the meeting, Morley joined Sabo, Lindbergh, and Karasu in advancing toward Mary Geoise during the Levely.
In the Wano Country Arc, on the fourth day of the Levely, Morley participated in the Revolutionary Army's declaration of war by attacking Mary Geoise. She fought against Admiral Ryokugyu and later assisted in freeing Kuma from enslavement.
After the events in Mary Geoise, Morley, along with other revolutionaries, returned to Momoiro Island. During the Egghead Arc, she was relieved to hear that Sabo was alive despite false reports.
When Sabo tried to report events from Pangaea Castle, the World Government cut off the signal, and the Lulusia Kingdom was destroyed. Morley was relieved when Sabo returned safely to Momoiro Island.
Morley speaks in a polite and feminine manner. She has a cheerful demeanor, disapproving of unnecessary violence. Morley often wonders if people's attention is due to a crush on her, expressing discomfort when teased about it. She is deeply loyal to Monkey D. Dragon, as she refuses to disclose his whereabouts to Admirals Ryokugyu and Fujitora.
Morley is a hairy and stout giant with a Fu Manchu mustache and shaggy chinstrap beard. She wears minimal clothing, including a short plaid skirt, belts around her arms, dark gloves, a bowler hat with frilly goggles, and a weapons pack.
As an executive of the Revolutionary Army and the commander of the West Army, Morley holds a powerful position with full control over her soldiers. Donquixote Doflamingo considers her a key figure in the Revolutionary Army, and the World Government has given her a bounty of 293,000,000 berries, indicating the threat she poses to them.
Morley is a formidable fighter, as demonstrated by her ability to confront Admiral Ryokugyu during the latest Levely and emerge unharmed.
As a giant, Morley possesses immense physical strength and a longer lifespan than humans. Her size allows her to move large sections of the ground using her Devil Fruit power.
Morley wields a large harpoon-trident hybrid, using it in conjunction with her Devil Fruit power to manipulate the ground. Morley can also use Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki.
Morley ate the Oshi Oshi no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit enabling her to push and mold the ground like clay. This power allows her to move underground and attack enemies by manipulating the ground's shape and weight.
In addition to the One Piece manga and its anime adaptation, Morley also appears in the following games as a playable character:
One Piece Treasure Cruise
One Piece Thousand Storm
Morley's silhouette made its first appearance during Doflamingo's speech after the Dressrosa arc.
The Japanese name "Mōrī" for Morley is akin to "Mori," meaning "Harpoon."
Morley is the second confirmed canon giant to consume a Devil Fruit, following Sanjuan Wolf.
Standing at 1253 cm, Morley is the shortest known giant in the series, just 53 centimeters taller than the minimum giant height of 12 meters.
Bagna càuda is Morley's favorite food, while fish is her least favorite.
Morley enjoys singing karaoke and walking underground as hobbies.
