Pound in One Piece

At some point, Pound was abducted by Charlotte Linlin to be her husband, and they had two daughters, Chiffon and Lola. After the birth of the girls, Linlin cast Pound aside. He later buried himself in the Seducing Woods.

Whole Cake Island Arc

Pound met Nami, Chopper, and Carrot when they came to the Seducing Woods. Despite being disturbed by his presence, the Sanji Retrieval Team encountered him multiple times while running away from enemies in the woods.

Pound later shared information about Big Mom's abilities and revealed that Chopper's crewmates were illusions created by Brûlée. When Monkey D. Luffy and Nami asked about his past, Pound disclosed his history as one of Big Mom's husbands.

Charlotte Cracker then pulled him out of the ground, upset that he gave away information, and Pound pleaded to speak to Linlin to congratulate Chiffon on her marriage and see Lola before facing potential consequences.

Pound pleaded for his life as Charlotte Cracker prepared to kill him. Luffy intervened, allowing Pound and Nami to escape. Nami used Lola's Vivre Card to freeze the pursuing homies in fear. Pound aided Nami in evading Brûlée, revealing her ability to emerge from any mirror.

He rode with Nami on Kingbaum and warned her about Big Mom's homies Zeus and Prometheus. After Luffy defeated Cracker, Pound stayed behind in the Seducing Woods. Later, he fled Whole Cake Island on a boat and encountered his daughter Chiffon on Cacao Island. He was forbidden to enter the Sweets Factory, and when Oven threatened Chiffon, Pound tried to save her but was attacked.

He witnessed Chiffon's happy marriage and attacked Oven to protect her, briefly reuniting with his grandson Capone Pez. Pound's attack didn't harm Oven, but it stopped his assault on Chiffon's group. He was content seeing Chiffon's joyful life before being struck by Oven's punch.

"Gang" Bege's Oh My Family

Pound survived his encounter with Oven, drifted near the coast of Green Bit, and was found by the Tontatta Pirates. He ended up in Dressrosa, where his daughters Lola and Chiffon tended to his injuries. Pound revealed he was their father, but they initially didn't believe him.

Despite the disbelief, Pound swam after the Fire Tank Pirates when they left Dressrosa. To prove his identity, he showed a picture of Lola and Chiffon as infants. Convinced, they helped him board the ship, and Pound tearfully embraced his daughters. He later participated in Lola and Gotti's wedding.

Pound has some peculiar habits, like burying himself in the ground for enjoyment and frequently expressing his craving for apple juice. He maintains a neutral attitude towards others, often speaking normally regardless of the situation. Although he avoids getting involved in conflicts, he can place his trust in people he likes. Despite annoying others with his straightforwardness, he can be caring and brave.

He genuinely loves his daughters and displays bravery in defending Nami from Brûlée's attack. Pound's persistence in seeing his daughters, even after being rejected by Linlin multiple times, earned him their belief. He faced the prospect of death with a smile and expressed overwhelming happiness at seeing his daughter and grandson.

Pound is an unusually proportioned man, with a head twice the height of Carrot and a wide frame. Despite his large head, his legs are extremely short, giving him a unique appearance. He has long, wavy light pink hair tied into a ponytail, a thin mustache, and a stubbly beard.

His face is pear-shaped with small eyes, a large nose, and a mouth. Pound wears a tattered frilly light blue suit and dark pants due to his time buried, and he has only one shoe on his right foot.

In the past, 26 years ago, Pound had stubble on his lip and wore a crown, a privilege granted to Big Mom's husbands until she discards them.

Pound isn't really good at fighting, but he's huge, and that can scare people. Even though he's not a tough person, he can take a beating. After Oven hit him, Pound stayed awake and got better really fast, showing he was tough. When Oven tries to stop the Nostra Castello from escaping, Pound uses a big club to send Big Mom Pirates flying and jumps a long way towards Oven in the anime, proving he's strong.

Pound also has great endurance. He got stabbed in the head by Randolph's spear and only felt a little pain because his head was big. He also survived when Oven tried to kill him.

Big Mom

Pound was abducted and forced to be her 25th husband, and after helping her conceive twins (Chiffon and Lola), he was coldly discarded without even being allowed to hold his daughters. Despite the callous treatment, Pound didn't harbor resentment towards Big Mom and accepted his abandoned status among the Charlotte Family.

Chiffon and Lola

Despite being cast away shortly after their birth, Pound dearly loves his daughters and holds them near and dear to his heart. His love is so strong that he instantly recognizes an adult Chiffon and follows her to Cacao Island just to see her.

Despite their initial disbelief and rejection at Dressrosa, Pound remained steadfast in his desire to reunite with his daughters. His stubborn determination eventually proved to Chiffon and Lola that he was indeed their father, leading to a happy reunion.

Pound's actions also reveal a protective instinct towards his daughters. He came to Chiffon's defense when he saw her threatened by Oven, even though Pound is generally portrayed as a somewhat cowardly character.

Capone Pez

Pound shares a heartwarming relationship with his grandson, Capone Pez. Despite their brief encounter during the Fire Tank Pirates' escape from Oven, they quickly formed a bond. Pound was delighted to see his grandson being cared for by his parents, Chiffon and Capone Bege.

He regretted not knowing Pez's name but was happy to see the loving family environment that he never experienced. The concern and sadness Pez displayed when Pound was attacked by Oven further highlight the emotional connection between them.

Stepchildren

Pound's relationship with his stepchildren from his time as Big Mom's husband is complex. Despite his attempts to show familial affection and address them with the suffix "-Kun," they remained hostile toward him.

After being cast aside by Big Mom, Pound still tried to help others, even if it meant facing opposition from his stepchildren. His willingness to fight against them, particularly to protect Chiffon, underscores his commitment to family and his rejection of the Big Mom Pirates' oppressive ways.

Straw Hat Pirates

Pound's interactions with the Straw Hat Pirates began with them being appalled by his strange behaviors in the Seducing Woods. Despite being initially ignored due to the chaos around them, Pound played a crucial role in revealing information about Big Mom to Monkey D. Luffy and Nami.

Once Nami learned that Pound is Lola's father, her opinion of him changed, and Luffy swiftly defended him from Cracker's attempted execution. Pound's willingness to attack Brûlée to protect Nami cemented his status as an ally of the Straw Hats and an enemy of the Big Mom Pirates.

In addition to the One Piece manga and its anime adaptation, Pound also appears in One Piece Treasure Cruise as a playable character.
