S-Bear’s history in One Piece

S-Bear is one of the four Seraphim created by Dr. Vegapunk. He first appeared during the Egghead arc. S-Bear was eventually removed from Egghead on a mission. Although Rob Lucci, Kaku, and Stussy, CP0 agents, were sent to bring him back to the island, they were actually on an undercover mission to kill Vegapunk. After being turned away from Egghead, Lucci made plans to get into the island using S-Bear's Nikyu Nikyu no Mi ability.

S-Bear's powers.

S-Bear mobilized with CP0 when the World Government agents started their mission after he and the agents were sent to Egghead. Sentomaru, who was in charge of S-Shark, S-Snake, and S-Hawk's defense of the island, came across S-Bear's squad. Sentomaru overruled Kaku's instruction for S-Bear to eliminate one of the Seraphim and instead directed S-Bear to use lasers to attack the government agents.

Following Sentomaru's instructions, S-Bear continued to attack the invaders with an Ursus Shock. The four Seraphim obeyed CP0's orders when Sentomaru passed away shortly after from his wounds from CP0. The four Seraphim decided to follow the assassins after CP0 breached Egghead's Labohase while its protection system was disabled.

When they got there, Lucci ordered them to tear down Vegapunk's lab before he arrived. The attack directive stayed in place until Edison left the laboratory and told the Seraphim to stop their attack after Stussy had defeated Kaku and Lucci.

S-Bear imprisoned along with other Seraphim.

S-Bear and S-Hawk began attacking Kaku and Lucci while they were unconscious and restrained, so Zoro requested help from Luffy to battle them as Vegapunk's Satellites and the Straw Hat Pirates looked for the missing Stella inside the Labophase. Shaka attempted to give orders, but the two Seraphim ignored him and continued attacking. The lab was partially destroyed when S-Bear used an Ursus Shock on them. Then, S-Bear was confronted by Luffy and Lucci, who launched him into the air. He was still being attacked by the two, but his recuperation worked well.

He and the other Seraphim were later trapped in seastone bubbles and left in the basement of the laboratory together with the Cipher pol operatives who had been imprisoned. S-Hawk, the other Seraphim, and the Cipher Pol operatives that were imprisoned dropped to the Fabiriophase after Nusjuro sliced the cloud beneath the Labophase.

S-Bear’s personality

Apart from obeying a Pacifista authority chip holder, S-Bear hasn't shown any personality so far.

S-Bear’s appearance

S-Bear's appearance in the anime.

S-Bear looks like Kuma when he was a child, but he has longer hair and dresses more like the modern Kuma, with a Vegapunk-related symbol on his jacket. He has the characteristics of a lunarian like other serpahim, including dark complexion, black wings, white hair, and white ears.

S-Bear’s abilities and powers

S-Bear is a clone of Bartholomew Kuma hence he has inherited the enormous physical strength and strong physique of the current Buccaneers race, which is thought to have Giant blood in its population. He also likely shares all the physical benefits that are attributed to the race itself because of his Lineage Factor.

Vegapunk's study of the Pika Pika no Mi gave S-Bear, like other Pacifista, the ability to shoot lasers from his mouth or the palms of his hands. Due to his extreme durability as a lunarian, S-Bear has flames on his back that are connected to his extraordinary capacity for resiliency.

S-Bear is strong enough to resist repeated combined attacks from Rob Lucci in his man-beast hybrid form and a Gear 4 enhanced Monkey D. Luffy, thanks to the resilience and durability he possessed from both his Lunarian and Buccaneer ancestry factors, as well as the resilience of being a Pacifista. He can use Observation Haki and Armament Haki.

Devil Fruit

S-Bear has paw pads on the palms of his hands thanks to an artificial Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, a Devil Fruit of the Paramecia variety, that he obtained through the Green Blood. These paws can violently repel anything they touch, even the air itself.
