S-Snake first appeared during the Wano Country Arc. In order to apprehend the former Warlord of the Sea Boa Hancock, S-Snake and S-Hawk made their way to Amazon Lily. She engaged in battle with Sweet Pea and Marguerite, two Kuja pirates. Although S-Snake appeared to be unharmed throughout the mission, the Marines ordered her to be removed. S-Snake was then brought back to Egghead.
A few weeks later, Shaka had S-Snake, S-Hawk, and S-Shark sent out under Sentomaru's command to fight CP0 when they infiltrated Egghead to assassinate Vegapunk and his satellites. As Rob Lucci and Monkey D. Luffy started battling, the three Seraphim encountered Sentomaru.
After they ran across the invading government agents, Sentomaru ordered S-Hawk and S-Shark to hold back CP0 while S-Snake helped the Straw Hat Pirates escape using Vegapunk. Following Sentomaru's orders, S-Bear joined the three Seraphim in attacking the government officials. S-Snake led the Straw Hats in their escape to the Vacuum rocket with Atlas and Jewelry Bonney. After Sentomaru died from his wounds, CP0's Pacifista authority chip ordered the four Seraphim to stop attacking them and start obeying Cipher Pol's commands.
The four Seraphim decided to follow the assassins after CP0 entered Egghead's Labophase while the Frontier Dome was deactivated. When they got there, Lucci ordered them to demolish Vegapunk's lab before the SSG could take back control of the Seraphim, which caused them to use several kinds of attacks to damage the building's structure.
The attack order stayed in place until Edison left the laboratory and told the Seraphim to stop their attack after Stussy had defeated Kaku and Lucci. Later, York slipped outside the Labophase and ordered the Seraphim to kill the Straw Hats, CP0 operatives, and any satellites that were still within the lab. Furthermore, York gave S-Snake specific instructions to give her a means of evading suspicion by subsequently performing a petrification.
S-Snake started carrying out York's orders after the original Vegapunk vanished in Egghead's Labophase. She attacked Pythagoras while he was searching the third level of Building C, but the satellite survived and was discovered by Usopp, Franky, Lilith, and York when they came to look into it. Now that York was here, S-Snake did as she was instructed and intentionally made York feel frightened, which caused Lilith to order S-Snake to stop. York's previous orders had not affected S-Snake, so she aimed a laser at the remaining members of the search unit. S-Snake took advantage of the fact that Usopp's group was falling through the catwalk to free York from the stone.
Lilith tried using her bubble pistol to try to immobilize S-Snake, but S-Snake was quicker and managed to avoid them. The Seraphim were immobilized, though, when Franky was able to divert attention and press one of the bubbles on her. S-Snake cleverly used pain to mislead Franky into taking off the bubble, which allowed her to strike back and partially petrify Franky's body. Then she charmed Usopp and Lilith until they were completely petrified. The head of Pythagoras was then blown apart by S-Snake.
Following York's instructions, she finishes her part and sets out for her next location. At some point, S-Snake ran onto Luffy, who thought she was the actual Hancock. In some way, she inherits the original's love and affection for him when he requests her to reverse the petrification of Franky, Usopp, and Lilith. Following her and her colleague Seraphim's arrest, she receives gratitude from both Franky and Luffy, the latter of whom she interprets as having declared his love for her, just like the original.
The Seraphim and the Cipher Pol agents that were imprisoned dropped to the Fabiriophase after Nusjuro cut the cloud beneath the Labophase. The Seraphim stayed in their bubbles and were eventually pulled in by Peter in his huge sandworm form, along with the Cipher Pol agents and bits of debris.
Later, Peter spat them all out and dropped them carelessly on the Giant Warrior Pirates' and Marines' ships. S-Snake touched down on one of the Marine ships while still in her bubble. The Iron Giant unleashed a huge blast of Joy Boy's Haki, leaving S-Snake as one of the few people still alive. She made a futile attempt to wake Pomsky.
S-Snake shows a great deal of individuality despite being a Pacifista. It has been shown that she gets quickly irritated when praised. When her opponents are able to attack her, she becomes enraged and pretends to be weak to let them down. She also makes good use of her gift by using her cuteness to win over her opponents. Though this might have been his sense of humor after seeing her clone, Jinbe claims that he thinks S-Snake is nicer than the original Hancock.
Like the original Hancock, S-Snake feels the same love and affection for Monkey D. Luffy. She is unable to refuse Luffy's requests and behaves a lot like the real Hancock when she is around him. Since he did not program her to behave in this manner, Dr. Vegapunk was surprised. S-Snake in the anime performs Hancock's gesture of "looking down" on people by pointing her finger while leaning back and facing up.
S-Snake submits to the Pacifista authority framework, just like the rest of the Seraphim. However, she will put Luffy's desire ahead of everyone else's due to her feelings for him. In other words, as long as Luffy is around, her "authority chip" is useless because not even the Five Elders, who ought to have the most authority, can manage it.
S-Snake looks like Hancock when she was younger, but she is much bigger and has the same hairdo and earrings as the adult Hancock. Although she looks like the adult Kuja, she is a seraphim with the characteristics of a lunarian, including a brown complexion, black wings, and white hair. Her pupils are shaped like stars, and her eyes are yellow. Her appearance is deemed "cute" by a number of characters, which helps her in battle. She wears black DOM shoes and a plain white dress. A part of her right upper arm is switched with a Green Blood-filled tube.
S-Snake is one of the Seraphim, whom Vegapunk refers to as the "Strongest Form of Humanity" and the apex of his scientific accomplishments. Being one of the few people who is not influenced by Joy Boy's Haki, S-Snake has an incredibly strong will. A remarkable accomplishment considering the vice admirals were unable to stand it.
Due to Vegapunk's investigation into the Pika Pika no Mi, S-Snake, like all Pacifista, was endowed with the power to shoot lasers from her palm. S-Snake, an artificial lunarian, has flames on her back that are connected to her extraordinary capacity for resiliency.
S-Snake can turn people into stone statues by using the Green Blood to give her an artificial version of Boa Hancock's Mero Mero no Mi, provided that they are enchanted by her. Her main weapon for doing this is her cuteness.
