Shaka’s History

When Lilith attacked the Straw Hat Pirates near the sea, Shaka confronted her about the mistake, pointing out that the pirates had the upper hand. Shaka decided to bring the Straw Hats to their location and contacted Monkey D. Dragon to discuss his impending fate.

Later, Shaka encountered Nami, Usopp, Nico Robin, Franky, and Sanji in a laboratory. He stopped the fight and shared that the advanced technology on the island wasn't actually modern but existed 900 years ago. Shaka then delved into a discussion with Robin about the Void Century, the Ohara Incident, and speculated on why Ohara was destroyed, connecting it to the Void Century.

Shaka shocked the group by revealing that anyone with knowledge about the Void Century faces a metaphorical death sentence from the World Government. He then explained Professor Clover's background, his connection to Dragon, and the aftermath of the Ohara Incident. Shaka shared that he visited Ohara after its destruction and talked about giants recovering saved books, mentioning Jaguar D. Saul.

Having read every book from Ohara, Shaka claimed to hold all the world's mysteries in his brain. He showed the group interactions between Luffy's crew and the real Vegapunk from the lab's control room. When CP0 arrived at Egghead, Shaka ordered them to deliver S-Bear and leave immediately, preparing other Satellites for a potential fight with CP0.

Shaka, hearing Rob Lucci's question about Cipher Pol agents disappearing, denied knowledge and refused CP0 entry. When CP0 infiltrated Egghead, Shaka ordered evacuation, called back Atlas, and deployed three Seraphim under Sentomaru's command.

Watching Monkey D. Luffy fight Lucci, Shaka observed Lucci's awakened Zoan Devil Fruit. Vegapunk joined and shared his Devil Fruit theory. As the Straw Hats and Satellites reached the Labophase, CP0 cut off escape routes. Shaka suggested sacrificing Satellites for Stella's escape. With Sentomaru down, Vegapunk contacted secret ally Stussy. Lilith was to escort Vegapunk to Vegaforce-01, but CP0 attacked the Thousand Sunny after the Frontier Dome was briefly deactivated.

As CP0 approached the lab, Shaka noticed the Seraphim acting on their own and instructed Lilith and Edison to take command. Lucci then ordered the Seraphim to destroy the lab. Stussy, despite neutralizing Kaku and Lucci, couldn't override Lucci's command. Shaka revealed Vegapunk unintentionally had a spy in CP0. Edison managed to stop the Seraphim, and Stussy joined the group.

Unable to find Jewelry Bonney and Vegapunk, Shaka suggested searching while he worked on restoring the Frontier Dome's control. After an explosion in Building C, Shaka lost contact with Pythagoras, saw Cameko destroyed, and noticed communication disruptions across the labs.

S-Bear and S-Hawk attacked Zoro, Lucci, and Kaku in the control room. Despite Shaka's orders to stop, they continued. Luffy moved Shaka to safety, and Shaka suspected Vegapunk orchestrated the situation to eliminate them. Lucci and Kaku wanted to be freed to help fight the Seraphim, revealing CP0's mission to assassinate Vegapunk and the Satellites. Shaka let Luffy decide and emphasized protecting Stella. Luffy chose to free the agents.

In the struggle against the Seraphim, Zoro noted their resilience compared to King. Shaka, surprised about the lunarian member in the Beasts Pirates, revealed the Seraphim's lunarian blood augmentation. Shaka went to find Stella alone and discovered her and the missing Cipher Pol agents in the old Devil Fruit Research Lab. Before he could free them, York shot Shaka in the head, killing him.

Shaka’s Personality

Shaka, designated the "good" satellite of Vegapunk, is portrayed as reasonable, collected, and observant. During Lilith's clash with the Straw Hat Pirates, Shaka disapproves of looting, emphasizing the importance of a scientist's pride. Despite caution, he seeks the crew's help and remains loyal to Vegapunk, prioritizing his safety even at the risk of their own lives.

Shaka’s Abilities

As Vegapunk's satellite, Shaka likely contributes to technological advancements. Shaka can share senses with other satellites, staying aware of Lilith's activities. In combat, Shaka's analytical skills prove valuable, preventing reckless actions by assessing the Straw Hats' capabilities and strategies.

Lilith and Shaka represent contrasting aspects of Vegapunk's personality. They argue frequently, with Shaka disapproving of Lilith's impulsive tendencies. Shaka attempts to rein her in and voice concerns about her actions.

Lilith, with her impulsive and mocking attitude, tends to annoy Shaka, especially when he acts in a "goody-goody" manner.

Later, Lilith mourns Shaka's death following York's betrayal.
