East Blue's Sixis is an island where Ace got lost at the beginning of his adventure. The island is unidentified in the manga adaptation of the novel's plot. It is home to giant, rapacious animals that resemble monstrous birds. The bird's nest is located in a sizable land mass with numerous caverns roughly in the island's middle.
Although Ace and Deuce almost go hungry, the island is also incredibly green. It contains several palm trees close to the beach.

Portgas D. Ace and Masked Deuce were stranded on Sixis three years before the start of the series and had no way to leave. Deuce distanced himself from the pirate after learning about Ace's heritage during their conversation.
After some hours, Deuce observed Ace eating fruit and decided to kill him because he couldn't find any food or water. Nevertheless, Ace surprised him by offering him half of the fruit after his scheme fell through, mending their bond. After learning of the fruit's nature, the two constructed a raft to leave the island.
Other than the fact that the island is encircled by strange, choppy currents, which left Ace and Deuce stuck on the island with barely any way to depart, only a little is known about the island's topography.
There are trees on the island because Deuce made a makeshift raft out of several of them using Ace's newly acquired Devil Fruit abilities and the branch he used to try to kill Ace.
Sixis is a barren island with little to no wildlife. Deuce reportedly came close to starving to death while stranded there, which led him to ponder murder in exchange for a single piece of fruit.
