After the Beasts Pirates attacked Zou, Tristan encountered Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Brook, Momonosuke, and Caesar Clown while being chased by Sheepshead. When Sanji's group tripped Sheepshead's alligator using ice, Tristan, frightened by a talking skeleton and dragon, ran away.
After the Straw Hats repelled the Beasts Pirates, they wondered about Tristan's whereabouts while she observed them from behind a tree. When Caesar neutralized poison gas, Wanda attacked Nami, suspecting them to be allies of Jack. Tristan and Pedro calmed her, revealing they were not enemies. Following Chopper's guidance, they treated the injured.
As the minks recovered, Tristan noticed Sanji's friendly greetings to the female minks, finding it amusing.
After Duke Inuarashi woke up, Tristan, Chopper, and Miyagi tended to him. Tristan, finding Miyagi too enthusiastic, followed Chopper to the duke's home. They cared for the duke until Wanda brought the rest of the Straw Hats. As dusk arrived, Tristan and Miyagi fell asleep.
The next day, Tristan wanted to join the Sanji Retrieval Team as Chopper's assistant, but Pedro was chosen for the role since he could handle Pekoms.
Tristan visited Amigasa Village and tended to Tama after the Mink Tribe infiltrated Wano Country.
During the raid on Onigashima, Tristan, Miyagi, and Chopper assisted in mass-producing the antidote for Queen's Ice Oni virus at the Live Stage. After distributing the Chopperphage via a cannon, they cared for the heavily bandaged Roronoa Zoro, who had shrunk due to using Rumble Balls excessively.
Miyagi explained an instant recovery medicine from Zou to Zoro, warning about its potent side effects. They watched as Miyagi injected the medicine into Zoro, and later, they fled with samurai carrying Zoro when King ordered his subordinates to kill him.
After Marco defends against King's attack, Zoro bursts from his bandages and joins Sanji in fighting King and Queen. After Zoro defeated King, Tristan, and Chopper were surprised when Chopper suddenly returned to his normal form.
When Kaidou announced his victory, Luffy reawakened and pulled Kaidou back to the rooftop. Raizo and Jinbe flooded the Skull Dome with water from Zou to stop the fires. The island safely descended to Wano, and Nekomamushi announced Luffy's victory.
A week later, Tristan, Miyagi, and Chopper continued treating Luffy's and Zoro's injuries after their awakening.
Tristan is a friendly mink, especially to those who are kind to her and her tribe. In her role as a nurse, she tends to the injured. However, she holds the belief that doctors, like Miyagi, should not be overly enthusiastic when caring for patients or learning from others.
Tristan is easily scared by unfamiliar individuals, once running off in fear after encountering a skeleton and a dragon talking to each other.
Tristan is a light blue-haired squirrel mink with tan fur, a dark patch on her forehead to her nose, and a large bushy brown tail with two dark stripes. She wears a frilly yellow blouse, a pink skirt with two layers, and red pumps. In her nurse's uniform, she wears a light-pink minidress and a light-pink cap with a cross on it.
Tristan, being a mink, is a natural-born fighter with the ability to use Electro, generating electric shocks. Additionally, as a nurse, she possesses some medical skills and was called upon by Tony Tony Chopper to assist in tending to Inuarashi.
Her name, Torisutan, is romanized and includes "risu," the Japanese word for squirrel.
