Vasco Shot History

Vasco Shot is one of the world-renowned criminals. The World Government caught him and put him in Impel Down's Level 6 for life, making it seem like he never existed. While in prison, other inmates thought he was infamous for being extremely brutal compared to them.

Summit War Saga

Impel Down Arc

During the Impel Down Arc in the Summit War Saga, when the Blackbeard Pirates attacked Impel Down, Shot followed Marshall D. Teach's orders and battled with the other prisoners in his cell. He fought hard and won the fight, and as a reward, he got his freedom and became part of the Blackbeard Pirates' crew.

In the Marineford Arc, Vasco Shot and the other Blackbeard Pirates were seen on the execution platform, watching the fight between Navy and Whitebeard Pirate groups. They had come to Marineford with the specific intent of witnessing Ace's death.

Following Blackbeard's fight with Whitebeard, Vasco, alongside other Blackbeard crew, attacked Whitebeard to his death. After Whitebeard died, Vasco and his crewmates covered Whitebeard's body with a black cloth and guarded Blackbeard as he demonstrated his newfound powers from the Gura Gura no Mi.

The situation escalated when Sengoku, in his Buddha form, attacked the Blackbeard Pirates with shockwaves. As Blackbeard engaged in a fierce battle against Sengoku and Monkey D. Garp, Red-Haired Shanks appeared on the scene. Faced with this formidable opponent, the Blackbeard Pirates decided to leave rather than confront the Red Hair Pirates.

In the Post-War Arc, the Blackbeard Pirates, led by Teach, moved into the New World, resulting in the defeat of Jewelry Bonney. Amidst internal disagreements on a fiery island, the Blackbeard Pirates' raft faced potential destruction due to the massive size of Sanjuan Wolf. Attempting to strike a deal, they seemingly contacted the Marines to trade Jewelry Bonney for a battleship.

When Shot alerted Teach that the battleship had arrived, Vasco and his crewmates had to run because Akainu was on the ship, which made the crew realize that the exchange would not happen, and they ran away.

A year after the big war at Marineford, the Blackbeard Pirates went on to fight the remaining Whitebeard Pirates and their friends. They won the battle and as a result, they took over Whitebeard's old territory using Teach's knowledge. Now, with Teach as one of the Four Emperors, the Blackbeard Pirates are busy hunting powerful Devil Fruit users to steal their abilities.

Vasco Shot, one of the crew members, became one of the Ten Titanic Captains, leading the eighth ship. Once, when they met Kuzan on an island, Shot and some other pirates got frozen during a confrontation. After thawing out, they talked about a man with a burn scar who had the last Road Poneglyph, a special map. Shot froze again because Kuzan thought they planned to steal his Devil Fruit power. Luckily, Teach convinced Kuzan to join them after clearing up the misunderstanding. After a big incident at Rocky Port, the Blackbeard Pirates decided to make Hachinosu Island their main base.

In the Whole Cake Island Saga, during the Zou Arc, the Blackbeard Pirates attacked Baltigo, where the Revolutionary Army was based. Jesus Burgess found the island, and although Baltigo was wrecked when the Marines and Cipher Pol got there, the Revolutionary Army managed to escape. The Blackbeard Pirates left after a brief clash with Cipher Pol.

In the Wano Country Saga, specifically the Wano Country Arc, after the Seven Warlords of the Sea were no more, Shot joined his captain and Catarina Devon in going to Amazon Lily. They wanted to take Boa Hancock's Devil Fruit powers. While Devon wanted to harm Hancock, Shot wanted to keep her alive for his own reasons. During the fight, they were turned to stone by the Mero Mero no Mi, but Silvers Rayleigh helped Shot return to normal, and they had to leave the island.

Later, with Teach, Shot returned to Hachinosu after kidnapping Koby. He was there when Blackbeard revealed plans to turn Hachinosu into a kingdom and listened to Kuzan explaining the nature of SWORD.

In the Final Saga, during the Egghead Arc, Koby escaped from prison, and Vasco Shot suggested setting fire to the town to cut off the escape route, but Pizarro scolded him for the idea. Garp arrived and attacked Hachinosu with a Marine ship. When Garp causes trouble on the island, Shot uses his Devil Fruit powers to shoot flames at Garp, but Garp defends himself. After SWORD escaped with Koby, Shot and other Titanic Captains surrounded an injured Garp.
