Shachi in One Piece

Past

Swallow Island used to be home to Shachi and Penguin. Since their parents were killed by a tsunami, they became orphans. They lived with their aunt and uncle, who used them as slaves and forced them to do crimes. Shachi eventually ran away from them after enduring it for a long period of time and started to live in a shack in the woods. He and Penguin ran into Bepo in the woods, and they immediately started bullying the young mink. Shachi and Penguin picked a fight with Law but he defeated them easily.

After the boar-chasing incident was over, Shachi thanked Law for his help when Penguin had recovered. Following his recovery, Law invited Shachi and Penguin to join him, which resulted in the creation of the Heart Pirates.

Sabaody Archipelago Arc

Shachi went to the Human Auctioning House with Law to see the auction during the Sabaody Archipelago arc. After Monkey D. Luffy interrupted the auction, the Heart Pirates were also seen fighting for their escape along with Euastass Kid’s crew. Shachi engaged in combat with the Pacifista during that period, and even though the fight was not shown in the anime, Shachi and the crew were able to escape.

Marineford Arc

Shachi and the rest of his crew were in Sabaody during the Marineford Arc and they were all watching the broadcast of Ace's execution. After the broadcast was canceled, they departed Sabaody and proceeded to Marineford. When Shanks came to put an end to the fighting, the crew was able to leave with Luffy and Jinbe and treated them. Shachi was taken back to witness Rayleigh beat a Sea King and learn about his background after Law had cured Luffy. Shachi was disappointed because he did not get out and explored further as they were leaving.

While at sea, Law told his crew that they would not be entering the New World right away, and to follow his orders for the best possible result. Shachi and the rest of the crew cheered for him.

Zou Arc

The Heart Pirates were quite excited to see Law again when they first reunited. The Heart Pirates welcomed Luffy when the Straw Hats left the Whale Forest, and they all celebrated with Nekomamushi and his people after that.

Wano Country Arc

Shachi and Bepo observed Luffy and Zoro visiting Bakura Town during the Wano Country arc and informed Law of this. Later, as Kin'emon was informing Luffy about Wano's background, Shachi was outside relaxing. Law went with them to Kaido, and he followed them. Shachi and a few others were rescued by Shinobu as Kaido attacked them, and Penguin then proceeded to tell his comrades what Kin'emon had to say. Later, Shachi and Bepo were taken prisoner by the Beast Pirates and used as bait to draw Law out. Law made a deal with them when he came, stating that Shachi and Bepo would be released in return for him, and he instructed his men to keep this information from Luffy.

After departing, Bepo and Shachi got to work on a strategy to save Law. Just before the attack on Onigashima, they had the idea of rescuing him. The Heart Pirates maneuvered their submarine near enough to the surface for Law to transfer himself, Bepo, Shachi, Penguin, and the Scabbards to Onigashima's back entrance while everyone else was taking out the guards at the Torii gates and avoiding the whirlpools. Afterward, Shachi was seen inside fighting the Beast Pirates' members in battle, working with their friends, and providing reinforcements for them.

After the raid on Onigashima, the Heart Pirates took part in the Flower Capital celebration and celebrated the success of the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance.

Egghead Arc

The Blackbeard Pirates, who were looking for Road Poneglyphs, attacked the Heart Pirates while they were traveling to an island. Due to this attack, their ship was destroyed, and the crew contracted Feminization Disease and Shachi changed into a woman. Law created antibodies and healed his diseased crew from his haki that canceled out the Feminization Disease. They arrived at Winner Island next, where they were ready to take on the Blackbeard pirates. Law told Shachi and Penguin to go back into the sea. When Doc Q attacked, Shachi spat out a water stream at him which made Doc Q drop his exploding apples into the air before they fell on the crew. Shachi and Penguin then swam alongside the Polar Tand and attacked the Blackbeard Pirates’ ship from below.

Shachi is really fond of women and is known to be a very pleasant man. He is very loyal to his captain. When he was a kid, Shachi was known to be a bully who used to mock people and pick a fight with them.

Shachi is your average size lean man with red hair till his shoulders. Just like the rest of the Heart Pirates, he wears a beige overall with their Jolly Roger on their backs and chest pockets with brown boots. He also wears a blue hat with a red brim and is always seen wearing sunglasses. After the timeskip, Shachi wore a new hat that looks like a killer whale. During the Wano Country Arc, he wore a dark yukata with the Heart Pirates’ Jolly Roger on each sleeve and carried a sword on his left hip.

As Shachi was born in the North Blue, he is an experienced and excellent swimmer. He is able to take in a lot of water and then shoot it out of his mouth in a focused stream and accurately hit his target in mid-air. He was able to resist a Haki release by Silvers Rayleigh during the Sabaody Archipelago Arc.

Weapons

Shachi is seen using a katana during the Zou and Wano Arc. When he was a child, Shachi used a baseball bat to bully people.

There is one major fight between Shachi and Trafalgar D. Law but it is not seen in the anime.

Shachi is not only an anime character but also a video game character.
