Yokozuna’s History

Past

Yokozuna used to swim around Water 7 and try to stop the Sea Train. He did this to become stronger and protect his loved ones from harm.

Water 7 Saga

Water 7 Arc

When first introduced, Yokozuna's routine caught the attention of the Straw Hat Pirates, especially Luffy. The crew decided to capture the giant frog for a barbecue meal, slightly altering their course to Water 7.

Enies Lobby Arc:

Yokozuna's defensive skills, honed by facing the Sea Train, came into play during the Enies Lobby Arc. He guarded the courthouse against government agents, showcasing his prowess. Exhausted, he was later saved by giants Oimo and Kashii, who acknowledged his strength.

Post-Enies Lobby:

After the events in Enies Lobby, Yokozuna no longer challenged the Sea Train and returned to Water 7.

Timeskip:

Post-time skip, Yokozuna was seen enjoying a vacation swimming with Kokoro.

When Franky's new wanted poster reached Water 7, Yokozuna, Iceberg, and acquaintances took notice.

Yokozuna has retired from challenging the Sea Train and enjoys leisure time, including vacations with friends like Kokoro.

Yokozuna has sharp teeth and can stand on two legs using his sumo stance. He is a giant frog with yellow-brown skin and black hair tied up in a bun. He has many scars on his belly from testing his strength against the Sea Train, inspired by his friend Franky's daring actions.
