Maddie started participating in dance competitions and tournaments across the United States at a very young age. In 2011, she, along with her younger sister Mackenzie were selected to appear on ‘Dance Moms’. This show focused on dance instructor Abby Lee Miller's ‘Abby Lee Dance Company Elite Competition Team’ and their mothers, who often fought and pressured their wards to one-up each other on the show.
