Katie Feeney who hails from Maryland, chose Penn State University for her further studies. She joined Penn in the fall of 2021 and is currently pursuing her higher studies in Broadcast Journalism.

Although her hometown’s university, Terrapins, was one of her top choices for higher studies, Feeney chose Penn State University in the hope of completing her major in journalism and starting her podcast or talk show. While speaking with Onward State, which is Penn State University’s blog site, the content creator opened up on the reason she joined the esteemed university. Feeney said, “I’ve always loved Penn State.” She also added, “It’s a big football school, I love the college town… I fell in love once I visited.”

Feeney’s task was to provide exclusive team coverage to her followers, to connect them and other fans to the organization.

In the same year, Katie Feeney was also hired as the White House social media correspondent for AKSM Media.
