He also created the Level 4 Collective in 2006, intending to set a new tone in the apparel industry; his subsequent 17-year period in the sector could not have prepared him better for success. D’Amelio was appointed to the Norwalk High School parent-teacher organization and parents’ club for the 2016-2017 school year.
He was also elected to the Norwalk High School governance council. D’Amelio ran on the Republican ticket to represent Connecticut State Senate District 25 in 2018, but was unsuccessful in the final count.
