Conte began on TikTok in early 2019 and on August 10, 2019, Conte uploaded his first video titled “When bae won’t kiss you,” which was him mocking the viral “baby girl chill” meme. While Conte’s videos gained a decent amount of attention, it wasn’t until January 1, 2020, that he found his niche in his first episode of The Angry New Jersey Cooking Show, which later became a regular series. The two-year-old video has since amassed over 5.2 million views, with fans reacting in many different ways.

When he started the series he initially wore a white tank top as his character's getup. He would later switch to being shirtless with an apron. He would talk in a stereotypical Italian-American accent and used gestures and body language to help elevate the comedy. At the end of his videos, he would break character to give an honest review of the dish.

Conte has since branched off from just cooking past but also reviewing world-class restaurants such as Nobu and Hell’s Kitchen. The star has also been seen with the likes of Nick Digiovanni, Jesse James West, and more. His content has included the likes of viral food tutorials on how to make pasta and other types of culinary dishes, but he is most recognized for his series “The Angry New Jersey Cooking Show” which has the star aggressively cooking pasta, tiramisu, salmon, and other culinary delights, dubbing the catchphrase “Let’s make pasta BETCH.”

Conte eventually earned himself the name of 'Pasta Guy' when his 'spaghetti with meatballs' making videos on TikTok was watched and liked by millions of fans. The footage has been shared more than 21K times, which is just enough to show how viral it went on the platform. The video wasn’t the first to do so well, he has been on the platform for a while and was significant from the beginning, but his 'Pasta' videos found his fame.

Conte's popularity extended to other platforms as well with over 6.1 million subscribers on YouTube and over 2.6 million followers on Instagram. Since YouTube allows long-format videos, he has explored that space as well, uploading well-performing videos of content related to food and cooking, although most of his most viewed content on YouTube is reshared videos from TikTok.

He joined the platform on June 27, 2017, and uploaded the first video on January 16, 2020, “THE VIDEO THAT GOT ME BANNED ON TIKTOK”. Some popular videos on his channel are “White Girls At Italian Restaurants”, “The Spiciest Pasta In The World”, and “The World's Biggest Cannoli,” among many more.

On Instagram, the creator posts pictures of himself showcasing the physique that he has come to be recognized for. He also reshares content from his TikTok channel and incorporates his brand-sponsored posts as well. Conte makes money as a Product Affiliate, by promoting brands in his circles. He receives a fee for each transaction depending on the brand’s agreements. He has collaborated on his videos with social stars like Marco Borghi and Vinnie Hacker.

Conte also had a fairly decent passion for music. While he ultimately ceased pursuing it he has released a few singles to his name. Before he started to create video content, QCP was a rapper and still produces music. He started uploading his music on SoundCloud under the username Burnboi.

He would later rename his SoundCloud to QCP and also start uploading on Spotify and iTunes. He started his musical career in 2017, when he first released his single, “Can't Stop Me”. He also produces his own music. Some of his popular singles are, “Yolo”, “Coming For Me”, “We Lit and They Lonely”, and several others.

Conte’s fame did see some downfall as well; when people discovered his pasta-making videos, they loved him, but it was only short-lived, as when people explored some of his old videos, fans noticed stereotypical remarks with a racist undertone.

Conte faced a lot of backlash for his previous videos with racist remarks. He had uploaded some videos of him making impressions of an “angry ghetto girl” and a "ghetto black man," but that was not enough; he had another video of him referring to an Asian woman as “the woman from your nail salon”.

While he tried to defend himself in his explanation video, later, he did realize his mistake and apologized for his remarks. He took a look at all the controversial videos from his TikTok account, which apparently helped him to retain his followers' counts. When the offensive video came to light on Twitter, Conte deleted the TikTok clip and shared a video addressing what happened.

When these videos resurfaced, he initially did not take them down and tweeted "People are so sensitive. I made a video doing impressions and now I’m ‘racist’?? Y’all will call someone racist if they don’t use pepper on their food lmao." He would later delete the tweet and the old videos anyways. He would eventually apologize for the offensive content and initially refused to delete the videos.

Conte shared in an interview with NJ.com, “I posted a video doing impersonations of different races. The impersonations are really exaggerated and honestly offensive. At the time I would post 20 videos a day, impulsively, not even thinking about what I was doing. I clearly wasn’t thinking that anyone would be offended. I completely understand why, it was too extreme.” Conte said he hoped to learn from the incident and that he’s “not racist at all ... I don’t know why one video has to define me like that."
