Tana Marie Mongeau, known popularly as Tana Mongeau, is an American YouTuber, social media celebrity, and rapper who has an estimated net worth of $4 million as reported by Celebrity Net Worth.
Mongeau is widely recognized for her “Storytime” series of videos on YouTube and for her own MTV show called MTV No Filter: Tana Turns 21. Mongeau initially ventured into the world of social media by registering her YouTube channel under the name Tana Mongeau in 2015. The following year, Mongeau earned her first million subscribers and consequently amassed over 100 million views as reported by SocialBlade. Currently, her self-titled YouTube channel has over 900 million views and over five million subscribers.
Owing to her remarkable talent to court controversy, Tana has found a lot of fame and stardom. Her first YouTube video that went viral was titled KICKED OUT OF A WALMART, which allowed her to build her presence on Google’s popular platform.
She further expanded on her success on YouTube and created her second YouTube channel under the name CANCELLED with Tana Mongeau, which is a podcast specific channel. In 2017, she stated that she was being investigated by the FBI because of bomb threats sent via her email which got hacked.
After making quite a name for herself as a YouTuber and utilizing the fame she had achieved because of the aforementioned incident, Mongeau decided to expand her presence into different avenues and released her debut single “Hefner” in the same year. This single was accompanied by a music video that features Mongeau’s love interest at the time, Bella Thorne.
The very same month, Mongeau appeared on Maury, the popular talk show hosted by Maury Povich. Since 2017, Mongeau has collaborated with fellow YouTubers Lil Phag and Dr. Woke on a song called “Deadahh”, has featured in two songs from Lil Phag’s album, and released her second and third singles “W”, and “F**k Up”.
Owing to security concerns between VidCon and Mongeau among other popular YouTubers, she decided to host her own TanaCon convention in 2018. This did not turn out as well as Mongeau would have expected, as fans were soon asking for refunds and even drew parallels between TanaCon and the now-infamous Fyre Festival. Mongeau was consequently forced to issue refunds and even released a documentary that covered the debacle known as TanaCon.
2019 saw MTV approach Mongeau and give her a starring role in her own reality series “Tana Turns 21”, which coincided with the release of her fourth single, “FaceTime”. Apart from her own reality show, Mongeau has appeared in four episodes of “Shane and Friends” and “Escape the Night”, a murder mystery show.
The self-described “struggling demonetized influencer” currently does not earn a lot of money from YouTube via AdSense due to her controversial and offensive content, and was forced to look elsewhere to amass that $4 million valuation.

However, these are conservative estimations and Tana Mongeau could very well earn over $344k a year. SocialBlade reports that after getting demonetized, Mongeau earns anywhere between $417- $6,7k per month and anywhere between $5k- $80k per year.
Due to the controversial nature of the content she posts, not many mainstream brands want to risk their reputations by getting associated with Mongeau. However, this has allowed new-age brands like Fashion Nova and Lounge Underwear to partner with Mongeau to promote their products.

Apart from that Mongeau is gearing up to make her debut as the first female influencer boxer following the success of her ex Jake Paul who is also a prominent YouTuber turned boxer. Mongeau also has her own line of merchandise, most notably her mugshot t-shirt, which sold like hot cakes as reported by Celebrity Net Worth following Mongeau’s arrest for underage drinking at Coachella.
Mongeau has over 130k monthly listeners on her Spotify account and has released over eight singles that have been streamed over 55 million times cumulatively.
House Digest reports Mongeau actually bought David Dobrik’s old house in Sherman Oaks, California for an undisclosed fee. She has since moved from that house, and details of her current residence are unavailable. Insider reports Mongeau’s ex Jake Paul gifted her a $124k Mercedes G Wagon to celebrate her 21st birthday. In an Instagram post dated 18 April 2020, Tana bought her best friend Ashly Schawn, a brand-new Mercedes for an undisclosed amount.
