Malhan created his first YouTube account on the 17th of July, 2014. While on his second job, he used to record videos late at night, and eventually, when he crossed the 100k subs milestone, he left his job to become a full-time YouTuber. After that, he continued to post videos on YouTube and gradually became a successful and established YouTuber.

Before coming to the name Triggered Insaan, he first named his channel Yes-Yes-Bhai. That is because of his name, Nischay, which translates to “absolutely” in English. After that, he named the channel “It's Nischay”, but thought that people won't be able to pronounce his name properly because it was in Hindi.

His name is pronounced "Nishchay", but the priest who named him said that there should be two h's in his name would be odd and changed it to one h. He eventually settled for the name Triggered Insaan, which remains today. He would watch other YouTubers who also had the word "Insaan" in their channel names and the word Triggered came from the fact that his father would easily get angry with him or in other words, get “Triggered”.

Malhan’s first video on his live Insaan channel dates back to September 25, 2018.

Many criticized Malhan for imitating CarryMinat in his content style, but Malhan has not changed his approach ever since. He has now become good friends with carryminati. Triggered Insaan first started collaborating with Mythpat on April 26, 2020, in the game Grand Theft Auto 5, where they played online together completing fictional missions. The series was successful and had two more episodes - 3 and 4.

On June 14, 2020, Mythpat uploaded a video titled "PHOTOSHOPPING INDIAN YOUTUBERS", where he messed with the faces of different Indian YouTubers, which included Nischay. Mythpat had drawn a pineapple design across his face, and after showing it to Nischay, he responded with a “thumbs up”. Later in a game of Minecraft, Mythpat mysteriously lost his pet Llama. This Nischay and the llama was later "confirmed" to have been "kidnapped" by Nischay, and this gave rise to a brand new ongoing series.

Malhan’s net worth is courted to be an estimated $1.9 million. Most of his earnings come from YouTube as a content, his social media presence, and brand collaborations.

Malhan’s dominance on social media is very evident with over 4.5 million Instagram followers, while onTwitter, has 206k followers.

Nischay Malhan was born in Delhi, on the 14th of November, 1995. Details about his parents are currently unknown, although they have been featured on the channel, he has not disclosed their names. He has an older sister, Prerna Malhan, she also has a youtube channel named Wanderer's hub. He also has a younger brother, Abhishek Malhan, he has two channels, Fukra Insaan, and Fukra Insaan Live, following in his brother’s footsteps.

Malhan was a student in school and would always come third or second in class, but as revealed by him, his grades wouldn’t be matched in the 7th standard where he came first. After passing the 10th grade, he became obese due to a lack of physical activity and he wasn’t very good at sports either. Malhan reveals that he was depressed for the next two years, which are the most important schooling years in India - the 11th and 12th grades.

In his hostel during his college life, he credits his roommate for helping him come out of his severe depression. He completed his Engineering Electronics and Communication Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and went on to work at a job, but he didn't like his manager who taunted him since he would watch videos of other YouTubers during lunch. In his first job, his boss fired him inside 3 months.

On Live Insaan, Malhan usually sticks to gaming content. Minecraft is a huge part of Live Insaan’s YouTube channel. He has a survival series with 25 videos, a hardcore series with 3 videos, and a few videos in the Gokuldham SMP. He also frequently streams Minecraft, sometimes doing nothing specifically, sometimes attempting challenges, etc. but he keeps his content fresh.

Avengers SMP is his main Minecraft server where he collaborates with YouTubers. Live Insaan started out with a Steve skin like most Minecraft players but he eventually changed his skin. He has had a lot of skins, all of which can be found on the website Minecraft skin. His normal skin resembles Light from Death Note, an anime character. He also had a skin that resembled Captain America on the Avengers SMP.

Granny is a horror game that Live Insaan seems to play a lot. He has a series on the first, second, and third parts of the game. You can find all of them on his YouTube channel. Like many Indian YouTubers and streamers, Live Insaan also plays PUBG. He is seen playing this game, especially during his live streams. Although the main focus of his channel isn’t PUBG, he still plays it.
